10. Those delegate will have to think long and hard if Obama won in thier districts
When it comes to those super delegates who are elected officials. An interesting answer.
And a very confident answer, imo, without being overconfident. He gave the Clintons props for having long standing relationships. But he's not backing down.
Last night all she said is that she wouldn't let any one swift boat her. That was a shot at the re-thugs. One thing he said was that his voters would vote for Hillary just like hers would vote for him. He just changed his tune. He said once not to long a go "That Hillary voter will vote for me, but I don't think my will for her." I think the writing is on the wall and we might get our ticket of Hillary/Obama or Obama/Hillary.
20. Well, the reasons for voting aren't necessarily frivolous, though
People at our caucuses spoke about why they wanted their candidate. Obama people wanted someone new to have a chance to move away from the divisive past. The three people who spoke for Clinton actually said they liked Hillary because her husband was there to help her make decisions. Honest to god, it was an eye opener.
many independents and republicans that are voting for obama WILL not vote for hillary... in fact with her at the top of the ticket it will only serve to unite republicans and a sizable chunk of independents for McCain... he does well with them.
I am a life long democrat i will voter for her... unfortunatly I know at least 20 independents and republicans sitting within 50 feet of me (i live in texas they are all over the place)... who will vote for McCain over her. Its a sad reality... it would be nice if it were a win win proposition for us... with either candidate... I think part of the reason Obama wins more "educated" (not all more) than her is we understand this reality.
25. Just wait till we get finished with putting the spotlight onto McCain
His history and war mongering is going to be a sobering reality. I believe that the number of people you know who are so firmly against Clinton at this moment will be whittled down. Keep the faith. Btw, I caucused for Obama last night.
17. You know, I think some agreement will be reached before
too much longer. I just have a hard time believing that the party elders are going to stand by while these candidates blow a shit load of money for the next 3 months fighting over this thing.
