How's that working out? As a woman with four daughters who just entered or will be entering the workforce over the next few years, I think Obama will be better for them than Clinton. I don't want to see someone just fight for women's rights, I want to see someone win!

1. WTF?
Are you implying that Pelosi isn't doing a good job because she's a woman??? If that's not what you meant, you better clarify, 'cause that's exactly how it sounds.

9. No, I'm saying exactly the opposite. A lot of people assumed that
just because Nancy Pelosi is a woman, she would be a better fighter for us than previous male Speakers. My point is that having a woman President is not an automatic win for women. It would be a first, but a first does me and my daughters no good at all if our wages stay stagnant or fall, if they can't afford to buy a house, if they and I get buried by student loans, if we don't get better health insurance, etc.

10. They have successfully voted in opposition to the sitting President's wishes more often
than any Congress in the last 50 years. They have passed many needed reforms and many good bills, despite the Senate setting an all-time record for obstructionist filibusters, and despite George Bush wearing his veto crayon down to a nub.
