majority on either side of the Hillary/Obama, and it goes to Denver for a brokered convention, and there's a first round stalemate, then all delegates will be released to vote whoemever they chose, and before they do that, Gore enters the fray, and declares himself ready, and the delegates follows.

The Party is almost equally split in this campaign, should he endorse someone he could change the dynamics to favor one candidate, which would ease the concerns over unity going into the convention.

We dont want a fratured convention, it makes the party look weak now that the GOP has mostly settled on their nominee.

I really think he didn't run this time because Hillary did. In many ways, I think there's little love lost between the Clintons and the Gores, but I don't think he's one to burn bridges either. If he doesn't endorse Hillary, I don't think he'll endorse anyone.
