Obama's New Theme Song: "Time Is On My Side"
In New Hampshire and Nevada, Clinton was able to hold her firewall just barely. With a little more time, they would have looked like South Carolina. Super Tuesday was a mammoth testament to the rapid erosion of her national poll lead. Places like California where she once was crushing Obama became virtual ties. If voters had another week to shop around, it would have been flipped.

She essentially tied Obama in the popular vote with each winning just over 7.3 million votes, something unthinkable a few weeks ago.

Polls and primary results show that the more voters get to know Obama, the more they seem to like him.

This is big trouble for Clinton since the schedule slows dramatically now. A full month will pass before the next big-state showdown.

Here are the states coming up:

1. The caucus states of Washington, Nebraska and Maine. Obama has won seven of eight caucuses so far.

2. District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia - all with significant African-American populations.

3. Hawaii. Enough said.

With Obama showing appeal across regions, you can expect Obama to get the "Big Mo" well before a sympathetic state comes up for Clinton.

On top of that, Clinton lost the money race 2-to-1 in January and needs to crawl to Fox News for a debate just to get on TV.

Clinton has been hanging on by her fingernails, and the campaign knows it. Meanwhile, Obama's camp is singing, "Ti-i-i-ime...is on my side."

Yes, it is.

3. But you forgot about....
...the mystical avalanche of female voters who, in their zealous drive to think on their own, uniformly vote for the female candidate just because she's a woman.

At least, I think that's how the story goes.

4. Time is on his side indeed
And that would be a perfect campaign theme song given the situation. I believe Obama is going to take Maryland and perhaps sweep on Tuesday. O'Mailley endorsement of Clinton here in Maryland does not help her case since he is not a very popular governor at the moment. The weekend is going to be interesting and I am ready to vote for Obama on Tuesday.

9. They call it the white house but that's a temporary condition

C.C. is trying to move the democratic party (and the country) away from the zone of zero funkativity.

7. Stupid question: Why did Alaska go to Obama and why does Hawaii automatically go to Obama?
Not familiar with the demographic, evidently !

5 of that 13.5 mil last month was hers. :o

Way to keep that under wraps until after Super Tuesday, Hillary. Slick, as always. :puke:
