We need to stop fighting the small battles, and focus on winning the BIG war against the GOP's vision of a narrowly focused, hollow, government.

Let's make sure we get experience and change.

Let's make sure that any new Supreme Court Justices are appointed by a Dem President.

Let's make sure that no GOP congress can pass crazy amendments to the constitution.

Let's make sure that health care for kids and for everyone else becomes more affordable.

Let's make sure that our foreign policy becomes significantly less arrogant and misguided.

Let's make sure that our energy policy moves beyond OIL OIL OIL.

Let's make sure that the Bush cronies are kicked from office.

Let's make sure that science becomes a critical component of how we make environmental decisions.

And let's make sure that tax laws are revised so that those who really need tax breaks actually get them.

The turnout on super Tuesday tells the story ... we want them BOTH.

Georgia had more than 90,000
Tennessee had more than 66,000

Arkansas had more than 75,000

both of them because we'll make him VP and President-in-waiting. Pathetic.

Why would Obama want to spend perhaps 8 years of his prime as a man with a title and no job, Vice President to Hillary and Bill Clinton, to a woman who despises him because he had the nerve to try to take what was supposed to be hers, a woman who hasn't said a word to him away from the cameras since he announced his candidacy?

Better to return to the Senate and if her presidency goes poorly challenge her in 2012, otherwise wait for 2016.

I thought this was not about him ... its about America. Maybe not.

He could have significant influence as VP ... AND, he'd be positioned to be President as well. Do you think Cheney had no influence?

But I understand ... some Dems don't think strategically, think about the longer term ... but the GOP usually does ... that is how they obtain and maintain control ... we need to figure it out too.

And btw ... I think in the remaining primaries, you should vote for who ever you want ... but I think this specific ticket gives us the best hope not only for 08, but beyond.

27. For months Clinton

has been arguing that unlike Obama, she is ready to be President, she is prepared to be Commander in Chief, that he's too wet behind the ears for the job.

The main criteria for the VP spot ought to be, is that person fit to be President should the need arise.
Now, when the air of inevitability is fading, suddenly maybe he is prepared for the job in her supporters eyes?

If she does get the nomination, I'm sure Obama will support her and work to keep the republicans out of the White house but adding him to the bottom of the ticket does not transfer the excitement of his campaign to hers. It doesn't work like that.

I'll support either one ... and give money too ... but I think this ticket is very strong BEYOND 08.

if they step in and force a deal before the convention. They aren't going to give up eight to twelve years of Democratic control because Obama doesn't want to wait.
