Most of us have one thing in common: We want a Democrat in the White House!
This primary bickering has gotten out of control. We have two great candidates and they are both being viciously trashed on what is supposed to be a Democratic/progressive message board. If I were a right-winger, I'd be getting a kick out of all of this. Obama is my candidate and I hope that he is the nominee, but the MOST IMPORTANT thing to me is that our next President is a Democrat who won't stack the Courts with right-wing ideologues or send brave men and women to die in needless wars. I'll be disappointed if Barack Obama doesn't get the nomination. However, if Obama OR Clinton become President in November, I will be ECSTATIC!! So let's stop bashing our own candidates, people! Nothing wrong with disagreements and criticism of the candidates on the issues, but the outright smearing of both candidates is counterproductive.

2. Well, you would think that
But this cesspool is full of the "I won't vote for her" or "I won't vote for him" mentality that, quite frankly, it demoralizes me. Why I keep looking in here, I don't know.

However, it's nice to see a common sense post like yours here. They come around every once in a while.

3. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens
will be 88 years old in April. The man's a true trooper, but how much longer do we expect him to be able to hang in there for us?

Eyes on the prize.

4. Yesterday I voted for Hillary and I agree with you. What I now
fear is that whatever anger is arising between Hillary and Obama supporters may linger. A real danger, I think, is that the Michigan and Florida delegations' situation will become a major battle, especially if those votes might decide the outcome.

The silver lining is that McCain will get the Repub nomination with half of his party hating him.

5. Amen, brother. Either Obama or Clinton would be a thousand times better
than the Republikkkan candidate.
