The level of discourse in this forum seems to sink to new depths every day.

Sometimes when I wander in here I wonder if I've landed in freeperville by mistake. Same mind-numbing stupidity, childishness, bitterness, nastiness, ugliness, shallowness, etc. etc. ad nauseum day in and day out.

By now I guess I should know better, but old habits die hard. I'm going to do my best to stay out of here from now on. I pretty much lost all interest in these primaries last week when someone "disappeared" John Edwards, the only person that kept the process interesting to me.

I'm so tired and disgusted by all this that I fear that if I continue to hang around I'll be so worn out I'll lose all interest in voting next November.

I used to really love this as a place of refuge from the GOP onslaught, I've been here since 2001. Lately it feels like you have to come prepared for battle and expect to be belittled for my opinions ('specially if you question St. Barack!). Stressful, really. I keep coming back though, but some posters are unbelievable!
