For all the people donating to Obama or Clinton
share a few dollars for people around you that need food.

Food banks around the country cannot keep up with demand.

5. We do food drive every Feb in my curves
and I gave a guy on the street in portland yesterday playing drums on paint cans some money. he was doing a good job actually. I normally don't give money to street people but he didn't look like a drunk and i figure if someone is at least making music or some form of art they are trying to earn it.

that being said...i am donating another $25 to Obama tonight to. I want to make sure HE can make it to the end with a fighting chance.

19.  Why not just leave it at "That's wonderful?"
How the person choses to help the homeless/hungry is their concern, not yours. Try just saying thanks for the help.

21. why is it wrong to find out how they fund their food program?
it takes money and lots of volunteers.
My church doesn't do one.
It does baskets of food but thats a lot easier than actually cooking and feeding people.

13. I meant to say, thank you for volunteering
I organize 2 shifts a year of volunteers at our food bank and volunteer a couple of times myself.
But mostly I send money.
I admire you for your diligence at the food bank.

22. We help wherever we can...
Our schools hold food drives, and we always donate. My employer also donates to Second Harvest, which was one of the deciding factors in working for them. (I work for a major restaurant corporation, BTW.)
