2. That seems very unlikely.
It makes no sense on any level.

16. It doesn't sound like there's any basis to what you're saying.
Obama doesn't need Bloomberg. Obama will carry New York and is able to raise money from online donors. He already attracts independents so he doesn't need Bloomberg for that either.

Obama is also a progressive Democrat who has never shown signs that he would do something like that. Nope it makes no sense at all.

18. His whole campaign is about bring in Ind and he is running on an inspirational message and Bloomberg
could be the nuts and bolts guy like Cheney, always in the background but you know he is there.

19. Again, why would Obama need or want Bloomberg for that?
He's a progressive. He's not going to ask Bloomberg to be his man behind the curtain. Obama can bring in independents without Bloomberg's help. There's no proof that Bloomberg has any kind of national following and Obama will win New York anyway.

22. I don't think Bloomberg would go anywhere with Obama in the race.
In fact, I think Bloomberg would help in a McCain v. Obama race. Independents and Democrats will be drawn to Obama. Bloomberg will split the Republican vote with McCain.

Frankly, I think it helps Hillary too. There's no way she can win 51% in a two way race. Splitting the vote three ways is the only chance she has.

23. No republicans outside of NYC would vote for Bloomberg...
A Jewish pro-choice gun control advocate from New York City...

Ain't gonna happen...

He just switched to the republicans so he woulnd't have to run against Mark Green in a primary...

27. You may be right.
I'm thinking about disaffected Republicans who dislike McCain but maybe they won't like Bloomberg any better.

24. Bloomberg can't run on a Hillary ticket(same state rule) so he has to run as an IND or team up with
someone.

Also I don't think Obama can carry NY.

26. I don't think Bloomberg will run at all.
And considering that Obama kept Hillary below 60% in her own state I'd say Obama has nothing to worry about there.

3. No.
Obama won't be on an independent ticket and Bloomberg won't be on the Democratic ticket. There is nothing to indicate otherwise.

5. if Obama loses the nomination...
the Clintons lose the General Election and the Party belongs to Obama from there on out. he has no cause to do anything drastic. McCain will likely be a one-term President.
