Will our beloved candidates waste all their money infighting
to the detrement of funds in the general election? Or does a whole different pile of party cash kick in then?

Inquiring minds want to know.

1. I believe that the money they earn in the primaries can't be used in the GE.
but maybe I'm wrong.

2. That doesn't bode well for the future
Especially when who ever it is get's to the WH. Then there's even MORE money to blow.

3. In 2004, both Bush and Kerry used public funds after accepting the nomination.

That gave Bush an advantage since the Republican Convention was a month later than the Democratic Convention and so Bush had more to spend per month.

Given how much money Barack Obama raised since Tuesday night (about $5 million in the 24 hours which followed), his campaign must be considering if they'd be better off refusing public funds for the general election.

4. The more people the candidate reaches in the primaries
the higher the chance for the support in the general election.
