About the "odd" claim that Hillary has raised $3 million
For Clinton: Money troubles or money surge?:

But one of the odder twists in this on-going story was in our e-mail inbox this morning: A message from the Clinton campaign to read this post at the blog of liberal radio host Taylor Marsh .

There, Marsh says the Clinton campaign raised $3 million yesterday, is going to aim for $6 million in 72 hours and that "Hillary's loan (is) to be paid back by supporters in 48 hours after Super Tuesday."

So, without announcing all that on its own, the Clinton campaign is pointing to Marsh's post and giving her news it's stamp of approval.

Still, several news stories today also say that Clinton may end up loaning her campaign more of her own money.

As they say on TV, the story is developing.

Wow! Marsh is Hillary's official spokeperson?

They sent her alone an e-mail, then referenced her post as the source?

5. This is the first I've seen of it. What an odd way for the HRC campaign to behave.
Sounds like smoke and mirrors to me.

What do you think about the story, MF, besides that you seen it posted before?

11. I don't know much about it
I don't click the OP's disguised links.

But this OP had started another thread on the same exact topic a few minutes before this thread. That's spamming the board.

2. Marsh is full of s**t
I'd believe it coming from the campaign, but Marsh is an overzealous cheerleader.

3. Why doesn't the Clinton campaign put up an online fundraising tracker on their website?

I wonder if this suggests who the REAL open government candidate is?

6. From TPM:

The Obama campaign isn't the only one that had a fundraising coup in the aftermath of Tuesday's results -- the Hillary campaign has raised roughly $4 million since the polls closed, the Clinton campaign tells us.

The Hillary camp is also claiming 35,000 new donors in the past 48 hours.

In a sign of how it hopes to frame Obama's fundraising advantage going forward, the Hillary campaign is pointing to the fact that it's keeping pace not just with Obama, but also with the formidable fundraising clout of Obama backers MoveOn and John Kerry.

As of right now, the Obama campaign has raised over $7 million.

7. How is that keeping pace?
He's raised 7M to her unrevealed $3-4M?

12. It isn't, but
I suspect by the end of the day, the spin will take care of that.

9. Scenario: Hillary raised $13.5 million in Jan. and loaned her campaign $5 million. Now
Edited on Thu Feb-07-08 10:45 AM by ProSense
the campaign is raising money to pay back the loan so she can loan her campaign more money!

Very suspicious!

10. This is where all this

x( why does it take a blogger to reports Clintons amount raised, what happens
to her official website, shouldn't that be the site for this type of information.

Hillary would do anything to get elected

This is just plain deceiving the voters, it shows lack of leadership, and she
said ready from day one, we know, since when being married to former President
qualifies you as one. Is this how low qualifying for the Presidency has become.
