How are the freepers reacting?
Romney was their last hope, the one they were pinning their hopes on. With him out of the race, are they in full meltdown yet?

5. I still don't get why they hate Huck...
Doesn't believe in evolution, actually wants to amend the constitution to make it more "christian." He should be their wet dream...

7. I don't understand that either.
He also thinks women should submit to their husbands and he hates gay people. I really don't get why he wasn't the freepers' choice all along.

15. I heard someone talking about that just last week
The scenario was that the GOP would wind up having a brokered convention, and someone like Gingrich could walk away with the nomination, without ever having appeared on any of the primary ballots.

I almost wish that would have happened. It would be so fitting of the GOP, to completely ignore the public's votes.

Guys like Gingrich and Haley Barbour have been showing up on news shows again.

Bet Pat Buchanan would love a shot at it too!

17. If Romney truly drops out of the race, then I doubt that can happen
This move practically eliminates the possiblity of a brokered convention.

Of course, this could all be a calculated ploy on his part, to draw attention to himself.

14. Freepers may be reduced to actually trusting in God.
Wingnuts insist on mixing God and politics, which is why we have 'under God' in the Pledge and 'In God We Trust' on our money.

Well, now the people who make us include such concepts in our national political culture have a chance to show that they believe what they say they do.
