Clinton has a huge base is my state. Most of this states demographic is now made up of Northerners who have moved here and Hispanics. Obama wasn't able to pull off a win here, even with the Governor and all the newspaper endorsements going his way.

Arizona is fastly becoming Clinton Country.

moved here.

Is THAT what you're saying. Be specific. I want to know whether or not to take you seriously.

16. I am saying that HIllary has a lot of support here, more than any other Democratic candidate to date
Our state has embraced Hillary Clinton, and the Hispanics could very well bring this state to us come to November.

It is hard to say what would happen in the GE.

27. Have a house on 4th and 2nd in Tucson, Pima County Dem here. McCain will win AZ
and a Hillary run might just turn out enough conservatives to lose Gabbi's seat, cause we know the only reason she won it is because the party was so fractured (I know for a fact she is worried about re-election.)

9. Being a Goldwater girl is a helpful theme in Arizona.
Edited on Thu Feb-07-08 01:22 PM by Straight Shooter
Correct me if I'm wrong, goldcanyonaz, but they love Goldwater in Arizona. He did so much for the environment and the Native Americans.

The phrase "Goldwater conservative" evokes nostalgia in a lot of American conservatives.

edit typo

Because Hispanics do not like him? Is that why?

Btw, your Hispanic nonsense smacks of racial overtones. Do they not like him because he is black?

Despite declining support, the Republicans in this state will either not vote or vote for McCain instead of Clinton, most definitely.

39. I highly doubt that.
According to these figures, more people voted for McCain than for Clinton on ST. The GOP won in total votes cast too.

How does that add up to Clinton carrying AZ in November?

If you've got more than your opinion on this, I'd love to see it.
