13. Hillary can do MORE with LESS money. Just watch.
Obama will give us more Harry & Louise style Repuke ads and get himself into ever more trouble. People won't be able to avoid seeing his real character.

Not quite the story as Obama raising $6 million from actual people within 24 hours.

17. Huh? 6 million BY FRIDAY NIGHT?
Even assuming this is true, a brief English lesson:

Friday night = the future.

Your statement "Hillary raises $6 million since Super Tuesday" = statement regarding the past.

18. She had $118 Million and squandered it
Her Senate campaign is $10 Million in debt. The reason this campaign was next to impossible for every other candidate is because she has been stockpiling money for two years. She shouldn't be broke, she shouldn't be loaning herself money, she's everything that's wrong with the country.

23. Here's where 4.3 million (and more) of it went.

Mark Penn's Firm Paid $4.3 Million By Clinton Campaign

Even if his candidate fails to secure the Democratic nomination, Mark Penn, the chief strategist for Sen. Hillary Clinton, has profited quite handsomely.

Through the course of the primary, Penn's consulting firm, Penn, Schoen & Berland Associates, has been paid more than $4.3 million by the Clinton campaign, according to a review of campaign finance filings.

That total, compiled by the Center for Responsive Politics, includes receipts for tasks ranging from polling and consulting to mail expenses and even photography. It does not include the $1.5 million the Clinton campaign is in debt to the firm.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/02/06/mark-penns-firm-paid-4_n_85192.html

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That's right, counting unpaid bills, she's into Mark Penn for 5.8 MILLION DOLLARS.
27. $10m in debt?
was there another $5m lent to it?
news flash, campaigns can't run if they have no money. sure, people will work for free, but aircraft need fuel, tv stations like getting paid in advance (in fact, they insist on it for campaigns) etc. you can't run on credit. so what if she is owed money by her own campaign? it's her money, right?
and where did that other five come from?
32. She transferred her Senate money
and left it in debt. She loaned the Presidential campaign $5 million of her own money in Jan. And now she is talking about lending it even more. The ridiculous part is that the 2004 campaigns were run on like 1/4 of this amount and that was considered to be an outlandish amount of money.
And do you think she'll actually hit the number that was posted as already being met?
Maybe there's another loan in those numbers.
40. Someone should ask her about the interest
I'd love to see her explain either a) why she's making a profit on her loan or b) why her campaign is so strapped that they can't even pay interest on their debt. :evilgrin:
