Romney - truly dropping out, or a calculated ploy to draw conservatives?
That sure was some "dropping out" speech he gave, wasn't it? It seemed pretty chock-full of stuff that conservatives love to hear. God, guns, and family.

Could this be some sort of last-ditch attempt to get more votes? Note he's "suspending" his campaign, not actually dropping out.

1. Behold our real enemies:
"If I fight on in my campaign, all the way to the convention, I would forestall the launch of a national campaign and make it more likely that Senator Clinton or Obama would win. And in this time of war, I simply cannot let my campaign, be a part of aiding a surrender to terror"

- Mitt Romney, addressing the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington.

Clinton and Obama supporters, please take note, and act accordingly.
