Sen Blanche Lincoln endorses Clinton
Another Senator for Hillary

http://arkansasmatters.com/content/fulltext/?cid=65348

The Clinton campaign today announced that U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas has endorsed Hillary Clinton for President. The announcement comes just two days after Hillary's strong showing on Super Tuesday, when she won the popular vote and won states from Massachusetts to California. Hillary had a particularly strong showing in Arkansas, winning the state by a 40-point margin. In a statement on her endorsement, Senator Lincoln notes that Hillary is ready to tackle the challenges facing the nation. "Hillary and I have worked together on issues affecting children and families since we both went to Washington in 1993. She understands that by strengthening our working families, we are strengthening our nation. She is well equipped to lead our country through the economic difficulties that lie ahead," said Senator Lincoln. "I am honored to have the support of Senator Lincoln, who has been a longtime champion for children and families," said Clinton. "When we take back the office on January 2009, we're going to roll up our sleeves and solve the problems that our nation faces. I look forward to working with leaders like Senator Lincoln to get our country back on track and deliver the change our country needs."

29. Did you remonstrate with the dozens if not hundreds of Hillary
supporters who posted thread after thread of hideous crap about Kennedy, Leahy and Kerry? Because I actually have done that with Obama supporters.

I suppose you also have a low opinion of Pat Leahy and all other progressives.

Smells like Hillyhypocrisy.

I prefer Democrats that win. I will never forgive Kerry for giving up in 2004 after I worked so hard for him.

34. Did Pat Leahy send a letter to george bush threatening to endorse Obama?
No. He just followed through and did it.

Not so committed on following through with actions that require really sticking your neck out. I like Leahy overall, but I'm disappointed that he has failed to gain traction on serious matters, like the "missing" e-mails and the corruption in the DoJ, which was actually exposed by Josh Marshall before our Dems even smelled the coffee.

35. First of all, Leahy single handedly stripped immunity from the FISA
Bill, and rolled back one of the most egregious bush power grabs by restoring the National Guard status. He's done virtually everything he could do on the emails and he's managed to get Contempt citations for Rove and Bolton passed in the JC. On top of that, it's Leahy's work that exposed the corruption in Justice- not Marshall's. It's the numerous hearings he held that revealed what was going on to the nation.

As for Leahy sending a letter to bush, I have no idea what you're talking about.

2. This should be no surprise
since we are talking Arkansas.

BTW, Mrs. Lincoln is a Blue Dog Democrat, very conservative (I believe she is even anti-abortion, though that might have changed). He votes have gone in favor of Bush over 80% of the time. I don't know that it is an endorsement that will sway progressives much.

I voted for her when I lived in arkansas. She's a sweet lady. I'm glad she endorsed Clinton even though it's after the primary.

14. Funny SoFlaJet
That's exactly what the Clinton supporters would be saying if she had endorsed Obama. They'd be calling her a traitor to her sex, or a sexist, etc.
