Who is worse: Michael Moore for voting Nader, or Hillary Clinton for voting for the war?
Let's see if even one Clinton supporter can take the partisan blinders off for a second.

And Moore even acknowledges he made a "mistake" - and I don't agree with that at all - but his humility to even say such a thing speaks volumes about his character, unlike Ms. Clinton.

1. Where did this come from? Strawmen Inc?
I'm no Clinton fan, but I don't think anyone would seriously argue that Moore's vote for Nader was worse than Hillary's for the war.

27. Actually without Nader there may have been no Iraq war.
So the vote for Nader is worse.

10. No, but for some reason SOME of our Senators didn't vote for that turd.
* Daniel Akaka (D-Hawaii)
* Jeff Bingaman (D-New Mexico)
* Barbara Boxer (D-California)
* Robert Byrd (D-West Virginia)
* Lincoln Chaffee (R-Rhode Island)
* Kent Conrad (D-North Dakota)
* Jon Corzine (D-New Jersey)
* Mark Dayton (D-Minnesota)
* Dick Durbin (D-Illinois)
* Russ Feingold (D-Wisconsin)
* Bob Graham (D-Florida)
* Daniel Inouye (D-Hawaii)
* Jim Jeffords (I-Vermont)
* Ted Kennedy (D-Massachusetts)
* Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont)
* Carl Levin (D-Michigan)
* Barbara Mikulski (D-Maryland)
* Patty Murray (D-Washington)
* Jack Reed (D-Rhode Island)
* Paul Sarbanes (D-Maryland)
* Debbie Stabenow (D-Michigan)
* The late Paul Wellstone (D-Minnesota)
* Ron Wyden (D-Oregon)

So rather than ordering people to "slap themselves", why don't you see if you can string together a coherent justification for the Senators (like Hillary) who voted for it?

19. Just a moment, please. Let's look at the math.
Let's say Moore really did vote for Nader. His vote was simply one of millions in that election. The only state that mattered was Florida, and Moore didn't vote there.

Clinton is one of 100 Senators, and her vote had at least 1000 times the impact of Moore's.

I'll buy the argument on this thread that the two votes are incomparable, but I will not accept that "Moore gave us Bush."

5. Michael Moore voting for Nader.
Hillary Clinton voting for the war didn't happen, so a real event trumps an imaginary one.

7. I'm not an "either one" supporter at this point, but.......
I would point out that if a few less people had voted for Nader
in the first place, there would never have been an Iraq invasion
in the first place.

Much as I can find fault with both Clinton and Obama, I find a hell
of a lot more fault with McCain, so my vote goes Democratic this fall.

McCain wants more SC justices like Alito and Roberts. At least he's giving
wavering Democrats an extremely good reason to run back to the fold, no matter
how uneasy they may find themselves with the presidential nominee. Not even
Spain has a Spanish Inquisition any more.

No blinders here. No Kool-aid necessary to see that out of Hillary and Obama, she's the most qualified candidate.

20. I'm looking for my copy of Stupid White Men. I know I'll find the passage...
where he says he did NOT vote Nader in 2000. He did, however, campaign vigorously for Nader, which had a much bigger impact than his vote/nonvote for Nader.

16. I voted for Nader in 2000
It was my first time voting, and to be honest I wouldn't have voted at all if it hadn't been for Nader. So, many of you Nader haters might be barking up the wrong tree. Nader got a lot of young people into the process who have since turned into loyal Democrats. Gore ignored the liberal base and he paid for it.
