Poll question: Will Clinton's Financing Stunt Backfire?
The Clinton campaign recently spread rumors it was having cash problems... staffers going unpaid, and Clinton even loaned her own campaign 5 million to make it appear as if she was in financial trouble.

Now it comes out that this was all a scam to get supporters to donate. Will this backfire for her or not going into the next set of primaries?

7. Why was it a scam?
She apparently did loan the campaign $5 million and they announced quite recently they only had $13 million left. So, what evidence is there that it was a scam?

9. Taken from ABC. That's their verbiage. And her campaign managers have been bragging about it
to various press. It was a tactic. Nothing more.

16. That's the best that ol berni_mccoy can ever muster lately
Anonymous sources taken as the gospel truth. When it suits his candidate, of course.

11. Well, Obama's campaign will likely run with it. So yes.
Next time you see Obama talking he'll be talking about this non-existant stunt.

17. you gotta give 'anonymous' some credit...
he/she gets more single airplay than anyone on earth, is considered credible by both sides of any argument (though not always at the same time), and has never been found to have an agenda motivating his/her statements. Kind of hard to actually see, maybe Clark Kent/Superman thing going...but, whenever something NEEDS to be said, there is good old anonymous saying it.

19. First off, I dont know that what you say is true...
Second off, although I am not a supporter of any campaign, if what you said was true, I would find it somewhat exciting that anyone other than the White House fooled the MSM so totally. Though I'd prefer to win with simple truths, such skills might help on the way to november.
