6. Seriously - Not everyone uses a QWERTY...
... and as many college procrastinators and professional writers know, Dvorak is better.

I never have had a chance to try it.

11. QWERTY is a relic and anachronism of the typewriter.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qwerty#Alternatives_to_QWERTY

QWERTY was designed to slow down the typer, in order to prevent jams of moving parts.

Solid state renders that need obsolete.

21. Where can you buy Dvorak keyboards?
More importantly, where can you road test one? As an aspiring novelist I've laid down probably 10,000 pages on QWERTY. Never learned to touch-type but I type close to 80 wpm with two fingers. I wonder how hard the transition would be for me.

23. Amazon and Froogle...
... for http://www.google.com/products?q=dvorak">online. As for bricks and mortar, I'll ask my partner later. He'd know.

The transition is a piece of cake, and there are http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=dvorak+keyboard">online primers, with mnemonics for helping you make the transition..

Why do you even try and make your other posts look rational? This is clownish and offensive. There has to be a better forum for this nonsense.

16. No. Actually, it illustrates the pettiness of the name-calling...
... and also illustrates that we're on a slippery slope only one letter off, already.

today.

from the post: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=4460675&mesg_id=4460783

I agree that this (name-calling) is a childish game of tag

It would be nice if the campaigns could manage these things. But, I thinks attacks and derision, to some degree, are encouraged by the political attacks which come from the top. It just gives wind to these hacks who think they've found some weapon of their own invention to whack their rivals with.

26. Your argument is that Senator Clinton is unable to win converts?
As someone who defected from her camp because of her, I'm not sure you're helping her case by arguing that she's not a magnetic draw.
