I'll tell you why I think Romney dropped out! He is now in a
position where he is drawing votes from McCain but cannot win the nomination. A lot of folks think McCain is too old but he has far greater support than Romney. If McCain has health or "old age" problems, with Romney as the VP, the ticket is more solid in the minds of those who are concerned.

Add a touch of the more conservative angle and the McCain /Romney ticket will work for the Repubs.

Good luck to them with Romney on the ticket, I'm from Massachusetts and I ought to know, they'll need it!

1. If McCain wants to make conservatives happy
I don't think Romney is the right guy to pick. But who knows. The Republican establishment doesn't like true believers.
