I am not gay but I changed denominations to be in one that is unambiguously inclusive of gays and gay marriages (Quakers). The nature of God is inclusive.

And we're careful about the church state mix too.

Obama is trying to please everybody.

30. One preacher in chief ,is one to many. I hope none of us have
to deal with another one, ever. They think any god would be as judgmental as them? I think not! Live and let live. Equal Rights for all! I don't think Hillary can get us there over night but I believe she has seen the light on Bill's DADT. I know that she has seen it on Nafta/Cafta. We have a better chance at gaining ground with her, better than we had with Bill. I don't think Obama much cares for Women or GLBT's (of which I have a immediate family member). I don't know what I am going to do if O gets the nod, I am very torn over the possibility of having to vote for him or staying home for the first time since I was old enough to vote.

15. BREAKING NEWS: Politician revealed to be ambitious! Millions stunned
I'm supporting Obama. He's ambitious too. Alexander Hamilton wrote that it was good to have ambitious people leading the country, because their love of fame would mean that they pour their passions into insuring the long term welfare of the country. We could only get into Iraq with a lazy, lame-assed greed head like Bush in the White House.

Show me an ambitious pol with a good head for sound policy and I'll show you a potentially great leader. If Clinton is nominated, I'll support her with relish.

Well, not literally with relish....

to be vetted before he gets approved. He could also use some seasoning and that takes time. I think, given some time, he could possibly be a truly great president. I am not ready to take any chances after 8 years of GWB.

Sometimes you have to accept that people change. He and Hillary have changed. They have sold out and love being rich. That's what sleeping with the Bushes will do.

As a Democrat who is sick and tired of taking the "lesser of two evils", why should I vote for Republican light with Hillbillary when I can get the real thing by voting for McCain? I don't care what anybody says, I cant take any more Clinton drama. I stood up for Bill in the 90's against the Rethugs, but with his recent ego trip against Obama, I am done with him and all of the drama that surrounds him and his wife. I also don't want to hear another general election that has to deal with Bill's C*CK.
