Faux talking heads freaking out.
I couldn't resist watching them eat themselves alive. They are panicked that the dems didn't kill eachother in th eprimary. The pukes don't have the people or the operation to respond properly. The GE campaign for Bush hasn't started. These clowns are on their heels. The segement is over.

2. says Bush's response team is poor
Say's Kerry's response team puts out a statement before Bush can even say his words. This reminds me of Carville and Begala.

9. Yep, like the Clinton's campaign war room
That's one thing Gore's campaign lacked in 2000. No more!

3. Fox would never run a segemtn which wasn't designed to help Bush on
some level.

If you're reading this as exposing a weakness, it's almost definitely part of a bigger srtategy to play to a strength.

They're trying to rope dopes. They want to lull democrats into a false sense of security. They also want Bush to start low and end high. They always play him as the underdog who exceeds (very low) expectations, and as a undeserving victim of other people's anger.

BTW, yesterday on NPR an anti-Bush Dem voter was interviewed and he said Bush is getting bad advice from advisors.

That ain't good. If people arent' holding Bush personally responsible for his actions, it's going to be hard to win this election. People predisposed to not like him can't even pin their disapproval on Bush. They imagine that he's just getting bad advice.

4. The design isn't working.

Of course everything on Faux is designed to help Bush. If you know any Democrats with a sense of security, please do us all a favor and go kick them in the ass.

5. Certainly its a long way to the
promised land, but they are the ones on the defensive. They just spent a bundle on ads and started attacking Kerry a couple weeks ago, and the poll numbers keep dropping. We are holding our own for now. Plus Kerry had some good strong attacks on bushie baby today. Not that we should let our guard down at all.

Missed seeing your posts AP.

6. I agree
Look what they did in the run up to the debates in 2000. They kept playing down *'s expectations, so when he had a mediocre performance, he was seen as the "winner".
My suggestion for Kerry would be to inflate *'s expectations so he can't pull that crap again.

7. This may be a lull.
It's a long treacherous road to November, and the dirty tricks haven't even begun yet.
