the cult label stems from the revival tent atmosphere surrounding Obama, where gays are cured...
and women pray over their reproductive rights. Where the Judeo-Christian tradition is the basis for making law.

You know...scary ass cult crap.

1. I see him having an "epiphany" in the Oval Office, wherein he turns to God for his decisions.
Right before he decides whom to nominate for our next Supreme Court Justice(s).

11. The ghost of Eleanor Roosevelt, in a heart beat.
Someone who is doing that is likely, very likely, to try to behave as she would. Almost always that would be terrific. Someone asking God, may be using the Jesus red letters but is more likely using Leviticus instead.

If it is, it's horribly crowded. What are all those Escalades doing wrecked on the side of the road?

5. The cult label stems from a desperate Clinton campaign that can't win on their candidate's merits...

...so they resort to Rovian tactics.

They tried to play the race card in SC, and it bit them in the ass.

Now they're trying this.

It will bite them in the ass too... the surest way to get an opponent's supporters to work even HARDER on the campaign is to insult them.

...and it is the surest way to make sure you will lose them forever if you happen to win the nomination.

Bill and Hillary are practicing the politics of divide and conquer. They are practicing Republican politics.

Lee Atwater would be proud.

...I expect a "Willie Horton" ad out of them next. The Clintons and their campaign have become despicable charicatures of everything we Democrats hate.

...and they're chasing away new Democrats in droves with their tactics.

Obama is expanding the party... Clinton is trying to shrink it to only have the "old guard".... her base of whiny old former-union white people.

Keep it up, Hill and Bill.

Divide and conquer. It's your M.O.

and maybe it'll come true.

Yes there are some offensive Hillbots but frankly the Obamafanatics are every bit as pathetic.

The differences between Clinton and Obama are WAFER thin, the money spent by the two of them arguing is obscene and utterly pointless.

The difference between republicans and democrats isn't worth the ink that been spilled on DU alone, let alone the differences between those two.

Some of us are capable of saying Clinton is just another corporate pollie but we're EQUALLY capable of pointing out that you can't JUST keep faffing on about "change" when your actions and policy statements are identical to the last 50 years of US politics.

10. The "Cult" label has caught on
because there are people who have lost their faith in everything. That everything includes the good faith of others and the desire of those others for changes beyond those offered by the sordid politics of the past.

The "Cult" accusers have lost sight of the irrationality of their own beliefs. Faithlessness is as irrational as faith when reasoned proof is offered of the truth of that faith. Denial of change from without is hugely irrational as change from within is more unusual.

12. 7.2 million voters plus LA times Editors experiencing Obamamania! So Good!

Ten warning signs of a potentially unsafe group/leader.

Absolute authoritarianism without meaningful accountability.
(Won't apologize for IWR vote, lists excuses)

No tolerance for questions or critical inquiry.
(Planted questions and scripted Hallmark channel town hall)

No meaningful financial disclosure regarding budget, expenses such as an independently audited financial statement.
(Won't release tax returns)

Unreasonable fear about the outside world, such as impending catastrophe, evil conspiracies and persecutions.
(Vast right wing conspiracy, media conspiracy)

There is no legitimate reason to leave, former followers are always wrong in leaving, negative or even evil.
(Kennedy, Kerry, Moveon, and Culinary Union thrown under the bus)

Former members often relate the same stories of abuse and reflect a similar pattern of grievances.
(Throngs of former Clinton admin. workers and advisers defecting and criticizing and thus being labeled right wing shrills)

There are records, books, news articles, or television programs that document the abuses of the group/leader.
(See 90's)

Followers feel they can never be "good enough".
(I won't even touch this one for fear of being flamed to death)

The group/leader is always right.
(Clinton voted against a ban on Daisy cutter use on civilian populations...being defended on DU as just one example)

The group/leader is the exclusive means of knowing "truth" or receiving validation, no other process of discovery is really acceptable or credible.
(It isn't true unless it is posted on hillaryis44 or by Taylor Marsh)

13. And utter BS
although I know the "cult" slinging won't go away until we ignore it, and the meme ALWAYS has a shelf life...it really needs to go away soon...

Keep on passing the cult meme around...or you could do somthing productive for whomever your chosen candidate is?

Both side are really being suck ass this morning.

Excuse us for being passionate about a candidate. Jesus fucking Christ, get the fuck over it already and try and move on to something a little more substantial.
