I don't know about you, but I'm growing tired of the primary season.
Something needs to happen in the Democratic primary process quick. This needs to end soon, so that we can rally around our candidate and stop wasting energy attacking each other.

I don't know how or when, but it needs to be over soon.

1. Maybe Obamites who demanded Edwards should quit should make the same demand of Barack?
It's for the greater good!

2. For all we know, it's already over.
I invite you to consider the following:

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the matter, regardless.

4. I hope you're right, Laelth! Still, this thing is mentally and emotionally taxing.
The party needs unity and the reassurance that we will have a leader real soon.

11. It is taxing.
I've been in a funk since Edwards "suspended" his campaign. I need some sleep.

Thanks, btw, for taking the time to read that rather long post.

3. just imagine how tired you would be...
in Iraq.
without electricity, or a decent water supply, with kids maimed by depleted uranium or bombs, with Blackwater in the shadows. With the might of Pax Americana up your ass.

we don't know tired.

6. It's too long and expensive
Edited on Fri Feb-08-08 01:31 AM by mac2
Most people will just say...I'm tuning out until October.

Primary Day needs to be one day where all states vote at the same time...a month or so before the election. Election Day should be a holiday for all citizens to vote.

Our candidates have work to do for our government. A year and a half without any input or doing their job is just too long to be AWOL on important bills, etc.

18. Your vote in May is more sensible then
Iowa, NH, IL, etc. People had to brave the bad weather to vote in the last Super Tuesday group.

Pushing the primaries so far ahead is insanity.

Wonder if Edwards will once again join the group? He did "suspend" his run whatever that means.

10. You are so right
We need to conserve our energy to fight the republicans. If this goes on for months, it could tear the party apart.

12. Yeah this needs to end soon
This is going to rip our party apart. Its already splitting. THe sooner it ends the better for the party. The longer it drags on the better chance repugs have of beating us in November. Not good not good.

16. It's gone into SilllyLand and lost it's entertainment value. Time to cancel it.
“Now, the man on the stand he wants my vote,
He's a-runnin' for office on the ballot note.
He's out there preachin' in front of the steeple,
Tellin' me he loves all kinds-a people.

He's eatin' pizza
He's eatin' chitlins
He's eatin' bullshit!)”
