DREAM TICKET Trumps Rove Trolls
I think we have all noticed the Rove Trolls on this forum. Pretending to be democrats while Switboating both of the Democrats excellent candidates. Creating divisions and fear. We all know those tactics, they are the NeoConMen's tactics of fear and division, they have Karl Roves dirty mits all over them.

That it will be a Democrat who is next President of the USA there is no doubt but it has become a quick draw competition, to see which one says the magic two words first:

DREAM TICKET

Obama and Clinton Supporters should read Chris Weigant's article in the Huffington Post

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-weigant/how-obama-could-wrap-it-u_b_85595.html

That speech can be made by either candidate at any time and by making it they win the Democratic Candidacy.

Because the polarize-able supporters are decided and wedded to their camp. Obama-ite or Clinton-ite. Those will stay with their candidate. The contest now is being fought over are the vast majority of unity Democrats. They sway one then they sway the other. What sways them most is punishing those who attack Democrats.

Howard Dean said it only a few days ago he does not want to be at the Democratic convention mediating the candidate. And Voters showed in New Hampshire and Michigan what can happen to a candidate or camp who is not out to unite. The first Candidate to say they will take Democratic party down the unity road to the DREAM TICKET will win all those voters in the middle.

Because; what true democrat, could be satisfied with just Four or Eight years of Democrat Rule?

That is the reason NeoConMen are Terrified of two little words:

DREAM TICKET

Why do the GOP have nightmares about it?

Why is DREAM TICKET the thousand pound guerrilla sitting among all the breakables in the dainty GOP room?

Why do NeoConMen glance at it and then hold their hands up to blinker their eyes, muttering "Can't see it, Can't see it, Can't see it." hopping that will make it go away?

Because as any loyal Democrat can see, it is not just a single candidate or a mere 4 or 8 years of presidency. It means a raft of candidates for both presidency, congress and senate; and time enough in office that they can bring about true change and the dawn of a New Democratic Age for America. It means Democrats at their convention with the next two winning candidates already lined up and shouting "16 years, Sixteen Years, SIXTEEN YEARS!"

Because voters throughout the country are now hungry for change.

They are sick of the Republicans damaging the US economy. They are sick of the Iraq war. They are sick of the American image being dragged through the mud. They sick of rising gas at the pump. They are sick of the dollar in their pocket being worth half of what it was. They are sick of it all. Most of all they are sick of the NeoConMen and their lies and deceit. And they are hungry for change.

If McCain gets the GOP nomination over the Conservative Huckabee it just proves voters want a liberal in charge. McCain just means the Democrats have already won the next election and that voters even former Republicans are hungry for change. Voters hungry for change are not going to go for the half fat liberal. If you want a liberal in charge your going to VOTE THE FULL CREAM and vote Democrat, Obama or Clinton.

BUT please frighten a NeoConMan today with just two simple words.

DREAM TICKET!

Because that would not be just a tactical victory of a four to eight year presidency. That would be the STRATEGIC victory of a Democratic Age. Because it is a unity ticket that will not just unite Democrats but also unite the USA pulling all those unity Americans into the Democratic party.

It is the middle and uniters who win the Presidency. That is why "Obama-Clinton or a Clinton-Obama ticket." is the Ticket that gives the NeoConMen nightmares. And the first Candidate to articulate that they will move the Democratic party to the DREAM TICKET will win that candidacy.

No If Buts or Maybes the First to announce they are for the DREAM TICKET will be the Democrat Candidate and the next US President.

My Dream Ticket: Al Gore / Barbara Boxer.

My Guilty Pleasure Ticket: Chris Rock / Margaret Cho.

3. DREAM TICKET Trumps them all
We all know what it is that frightens NeoConMan today; two simple words.

DREAM TICKET.

That is why the Rove Trolls are here.

Inserted in to a conversation a NeoConMan would hear it across a crowded mall as clear as they would hear someone calling their name.

That is why the GOP have nightmares about it. That is why the NeoConMen in the press and media do not want it to be talked about.

DREAM TICKET is the thousand pound guerrilla sitting among all the breakables in the dainty GOP room.

NeoConMen glance at it and then hold their hands up to blinker their eyes, muttering "Can't see it, Can't see it, Can't see it." hopping that will make it go away.

"Obama-Clinton or a Clinton-Obama ticket." is the Ticket that gives the NeoConMen nightmares; certainly no bad thing.

A united Democratic party is a shoo-in.

And as Chris Weigant's article in the Huffington Post makes clear

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-weigant/how-obama-could-wrap-it-u_b_85595.html

That speech can be made by either candidate at any time and by making it they win the Democratic Candidacy.

4. Dream tickets mean a winning ticket
While I have personal preferences for other Democrats besides Obama-Clinton theirs would be an absolute winner in Sept. Do you think Gore-Boxer would garner more votes at this point? As much as you and I like that idea, the general voting public is not that Liberal.

7. Learn to recognise the Rove Trolls
Spamming threads with offtopic remarks or emotive and abusive of Democratic candidates are all signs of a Rove Troll.

Do not feed the Rove Troll topics. Read them, recognise them, build defensive arguments against them, see them for what they are, by all means combat them in threads that unify the Democratic party becaus they you are not feeding the Rove Troll head lines, you are letting the unity threads feed off them.

It has become a quick draw competition, to see which one says the magic two words first:

DREAM TICKET

Obama and Clinton Supporters should read Chris Weigant's article in the Huffington Post

12. Only Rove Trolls Denigrate Democratic Candidates
I think all true Democrats can the see the Rove Trolls busy at their work in this forum and in other places on the web and in the media; trying to split the Democrats by pretending to be Democrats from some notional extreme of one candidate or the other.

Real Democrats get behind all Democratic candidates. NO IF BUTs or MAYBEs

Real Democrats would never be involved in swifboating tactics against members of their own party; that Tactic has Karl Roves dirty mits all over it.

We know the DREAM TICKET gives the NeoConMen Nightmares. It is why it is such an acid test for whether you are a true Democrat or just some whining Rove Troll.

Because the DREAM TICKET, as any True and Loyal Democrat can see, is not just a single candidate or a mere 4 or 8 years of presidency.

Because the DREAM TICKET means a raft of candidates for both presidency, congress and senate; and time enough in office that they can bring about true change and the dawn of a New Democratic Age for America.

Because the DREAM TICKET means Democrats at their convention with the next two winning candidates already lined up and shouting "16 years, Sixteen Years, SIXTEEN YEARS!"

A Real Democrat can discuss the relative merits of both Democrat candidates without resorting to personal attacks on the two best Democrat candidates.

The next President of the USA will be a Democrat.

But it has become a quick draw competition, to see which one says the magic two words first:

DREAM TICKET

Obama and Clinton Supporters should read Chris Weigant's article in the Huffington Post

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-weigant/how-obama-could-wrap-it-u_b_85595.html

5. Forum posters stop feeding the Rove Trolls
By Reacting to their fear and division tactics you are giving the Rove Trolls posts the oxygen of publicity. By watching to see who is posting Rove Troll posts Real Democrats can see who the Rove Trolls are. By all means read the Rove Troll posts so you can gather a list of their tactics and develop strategies to beat them but do not Feed the Rove Trolls with replies.

DREAM TICKET wins the candidacy simple as that. Obama and Clinton Supporters should read Chris Weigant's article in the Huffington Post

11. Talk of the Cabinet and Future positions
Edited on Fri Feb-08-08 09:26 PM by Ian_walker
Below I have rewritten the quick draw competition version of the Chris Weigant speech (follow this link for the original version of the speech)
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-weigant/how-obama-could-wrap-it-u_b_85595.html

The Candidate who first makes this speech wins the the unity and undecided voters of the Democratic party and with this middle ground the Democratic nomination for President.
"I would like to address the people in the Democratic Party for a moment.

Our party is now pretty equally divided between myself and Senator (Obama/Clinton). The race is about tied. We are obviously the two strongest candidates this party has to offer to win the White House in 2008. We both have our relative strengths, and much of the electorate is genuinely conflicted over who to select in the voting booth. Some say this is fracturing our party, but I don't believe that is true. The Republican Party is divided because of antipathy among their different factions for their various candidates -- but I'm proud to say that our party is conflicted over who is the best between two very good choices.

So I would like to take this opportunity to offer Senator (Obama/Clinton). the Vice Presidential spot on the Democratic ticket, should I be nominated for President. Should they be nominated, and should they offer the same to me, I am publicly saying I would accept that as well. I think both of us should get behind the idea of a 'dream ticket' right here on this stage. I challenge my opponent to do the same."
Cue Instant pandemonium! Among loud cheers and a few groans from supporters of the candidate that did not make the speech.

I wonder if Pelossi and Howard Dean are mediating how the deal can be done? A joint non aggresion pact of not putting out that version of the Chris Weigant speech instead to put out this version.

This version of the speech leaves the contest open but runs it without internecine war and unites the whole party
"We would like instead to address the people in the Democratic Party for a moment.

Our party is now pretty equally divided between ourselves. The race is about tied. We are obviously the two strongest candidates this party has to offer to win the White House in 2008. The choice is there for the candidates to take.

10. Unity is what wins the Presidency.
Edited on Fri Feb-08-08 09:27 AM by Ian_walker
We all like to see our own particular candidate putting our views. The US Presidency is democratic majority vote. It is after all a party not an ego trip. The DREAM TICKET is the first chance to diversify those who lead America away from just being middle class white men. If there is ever to be a Native American President of the USA and I too like you hope that will one day soon be true for I to "... Have a Dream"

Unity is what wins the Presidency.

The first Candidate to articulate that they will move the Democratic party to the DREAM TICKET will win the candidacy.

No If Buts or Maybes they will be the Democrat Candidate and the next US President.

Obama and Clinton Supporters should read Chris Weigant's article at the Huffington Post

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-weigant/how-obama-could-wrap-it-u_b_...

Anyone who is against the DREAM TICKET, will be seen as against a united Democratic party. The Democrats DREAM TICKET is a uniting ticket for the whole of the USA that will result in a Democratic landslide.

Because any loyal Democrat does not just want a single candidate or a mere 4 or 8 years of presidency; they want a raft of candidates for both presidency, congress and senate and the time in office that will bring about change and a New Democratic American Age.

They want to be standing up at the democratic convention with two winning candidates shouting "16 years, Sixteen Years, SIXTEEN YEARS!"

Voters showed in New Hampshire and Michigan what can happen to a candidate or camp who is not out to unite the Democratic Party.

Tuesdays results make the DREAM TICKET a forgone conclusion. The vote told the candidates what the voters want.

I say again "The first Candidate to articulate that they will move the Democratic party to the DREAM TICKET will win the candidacy."

A united Democratic party will unite America.

We all know what it is that frightens NeoConMan today; two simple words.

DREAM TICKET.

Inserted in to a conversation a NeoConMan would hear it across a crowded mall as clear as they would hear someone calling their name.

"Obama-Clinton or a Clinton-Obama ticket." is the Ticket that gives the NeoConMen nightmares; certainly no bad thing.

A united Democratic party is a shoo-in.

Democrats already have the T shirts, bumper stickers, buttons and yard signs, and they are chomping at the bit to use them.

If you like Martin Luther King say "I have a Dream"

IF YOU WANT a Democratic Presidency, and a Democratic majority in Congress and a Democratic majority in the Senate.

IF YOU WANT to be standing up at the democratic convention with two winning candidates shouting "16 years, Sixteen Years, SIXTEEN YEARS!"

IF YOU WANT a New Democratic American Age.

Then all you need to do is say "I have a Dream"

14. DREAM TICKET put the Fear in those NeoConMen
Hi all

The DREAM TICKET is the way forward for Democrats because voters throughout the country are now hungry for change.

Voters hungry for change are not going to go for the Half Fat Liberal McCain.

Voters hungry for change are going to VOTE THE FULL CREAM and vote Democrat, Obama or Clinton.

And the reason it is a DREAM TICKET for Democrats is that as any loyal Democrat can see, it is not just a single candidate or a mere 4 or 8 years of presidency.

If you are a Real Democrat and not some ego tripper or Whining Rove Troll you are going to want that Democratic Age your going to want the Dream Ticket with all your heart.

Your going to want to put the Fear of the DREAM TICKET in those NeoConMen for all the dammage they have done to America.

Your going to want the GOP to have nightmares.

Your going to want DREAM TICKET the thousand pound guerrilla sitting among all the breakables in the dainty GOP room.

Your going to want the NeoConMen glance at it and then hold their hands up to blinker their eyes, muttering "Can't see it, Can't see it, Can't see it." hopping that will make it go away.

Because the NeoConMen have harmed America and they need to pay for that, and not just for 4 or 8 years they need to pay for decades.

18. Dream Ticket that is the topic
Edited on Sat Feb-09-08 03:45 PM by Ian_walker
Hi Bridget

Simple answer is yes if you want to know more send me Personal message I will be happy to talk about it but let us keep this on-topic.

What is important is that the Democratic Party unites to do the real task of winning not just this election but creating a Democratic Age.

What is important is Obama and Clinton Supporters should read Chris Weigant's article in the Huffington Post
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-weigant/how-obama-could-wrap-it-u_b_85595.html
and that that speech can be made by either candidate at any time and by making it they win the Democratic Candidacy because the polarize-able supporters are decided and wedded to their camp. Obama-ite or Clinton-ite. Those will stay with their candidate. The contest now is being fought over the vast majority of unity Democrats in the middle and the candidate that makes that speech wins the Democratic nomination.

That said:

This version of the speech leaves the contest open but runs it without internecine war and unites the whole party.
"We would like instead toogether to address the people in the Democratic Party for a moment.

Our party is now pretty equally divided between ourselves. The race is about tied. We are obviously the two strongest candidates this party has to offer to win the White House in 2008. We both have our relative strengths, and much of the electorate is genuinely conflicted over who to select in the voting booth. Some say this is fracturing our party, but we don't believe that is true. The Republican Party is divided because of antipathy among their different factions for their various candidates -- but we are proud to say that our party is conflicted over who is the best between two very good choices.

So we would like to take this opportunity to offer each other the Vice Presidential spot on the Democratic ticket, should we be nominated by the party for President. Should the other be nominated, and should they offer the same to me, We are publicly saying we would accept that as well. We think both of us should get behind the idea of a 'dream ticket' right here on this stage. We challenge our party to do the same."
Cue very long Standing ovation

The choice is there for the candidates and anyone who is not just some ego maniac or Rove Troll to take.

And who would not want the DREAM TICKET making NeoConMen glance at it and then hold their hands up to blinker their eyes, muttering "Can't see it, Can't see it, Can't see it." hopping that will make it go away?

And who would not want the DREAM TICKET being the real thousand pound guerrilla sitting among all the breakables in the dainty GOP room?

And who would not want the DREAM TICKET giving the GOP have nightmares?

22. Martin Luther King's DREAM TICKET
When Martin Luther King said "I have a Dream"

"I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day down in Alabama, with its vicious racists,
with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition
and nullification - one day right there in Alabama little black boys and
black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as
sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today."

He would be proud today, to see the American Democratic Party bring that part of the dream to fruition.

To see the dream made flesh.

That a black man democratic candidate and white woman democratic candidate for president would stand together and say these words in America.

"We toogether would like to address the people of the Democratic Party and America for a moment.

The Republican Party is divided because of antipathy among their different factions for their various candidates -- but we are proud to say that what our party is conflicted over is; who is the best between two very good choices?

So we would like to take this opportunity to offer each other the Vice Presidential spot on the Democratic ticket, whichever one of us be nominated by the party for President. We are publicly saying we would accept that post from the other if they won the Democratic Nomination for President. We think both of us should get behind the idea of a 'dream ticket' right here on this stage. We challenge our party and our nation to do the same."

Cue very long Standing ovation

Now there is the Dream
Now there is the DREAM!

23. Terry McAuliffe talks up the DREAM TICKET
Terry McAuliffe, Clinton’s campaign manager has started talking about the DREAM TICKET.

He has read Chris Weigant's article in the Huffington Post

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/chris-weigant/how-obama-could-wrap-it-u_b_85595.html

And realised either candidate can make that speech and win the Democratic Candidacy.

The first Candidate to articulate that they will take the Democratic party down the unity road to the DREAM TICKET will win the candidacy.

Because the polarize-able supporters are decided and wedded to their camp. Obama-ite or Clinton-ite. Those will stay with their candidate. What is left is the contest for the vast majority of unity Democrats. They sway one then they sway the other. What sways them most is punishing those who attack Democrats. Howard Dean, Chris Redfern, George Stephanopoulos and a growing number of other Democrats are pushing for the DREAM TICKET. And Voters showed in New Hampshire and Michigan what can happen to a candidate or camp who is not out to unite.

The first Candidate to say they will take Democratic party down the unity road to the DREAM TICKET will win all those voters in the middle.

But far better for both candidates is for them both to say the combined speech

"We together would like to address the people of the Democratic Party and America for a moment.

Our party is now pretty equally divided between ourselves. The race is about tied. We are obviously the two strongest candidates this party has to offer to win the White House in 2008. We think both of us should get behind the idea of a 'dream ticket' right here on this stage. We challenge our party and our nation to do the same."

Because as any loyal Democrat can see, it is not just a single candidate or a mere 4 or 8 years of presidency.
