3. No, that would be following dem party rules to get to this point obama.
How do you think Obama got to this point?

He didn't spring from a cabbage patch, did he?

Of course not.

He joined his local party, networked, rose through the ranks
and followed party rules all the way to get where he is today.

Sorry, I'm not aiming at you, msongs.

I'm just tired of people wanting to scrap all
party rules now, in order to secure a higher delegate count.

Frankly, all of this "let the people decide," even when you
know how the delegate selection process works --beginning at
the local party level-- and now wanting to change the rules,
makes me sigh. A truly heavy sigh.

Sorry for the mini rant.

2. The next president is going to have "real" problems.
When the "aura" rubs off next January, the next president is going to have to convince Americans to increase taxes. Probably not all Americans are going to jump on that bandwagon.

4. I love this sort of (non)logic
of Gingrich's revolution being the Clinton's fault, a dumb meme repeated by ignorant children. Were you even around back then...and by "around" I mean of voting age, and not in a "I have New Kids on the Block posters on my wall" sense?

The only thing Bill Clinton did to enable the Gingrich revolution was....gasp...WIN an election. The Republican Party was enraged beyond all reasonable comprehension that THEIR presidency was STOLEN by a baby boomer from Day 1. Long before don't ask don't tell, Hillary health care, the budget showdown, Whitewater, Travelgate, and so on they were out for blood and revenge.

The Clintons are seen as "polarizing" because of conservatism's irrational hatred that was only inflamed over the years as he became more and more admired and cheered by the American public.

5. After the last few months
on this board I would be dead 3 days before I would consider voting for Obama. He is known by his admirers. They are all very snotty and rude.
