Amazing OH-Bama Photos from NOLA.....
This is the OVERFLOW crowd !!!!

Barack Obama gets high fives and adoring looks from students at Washington Carver Elementary School during his visit to New Orleans.

Barack Obama mimics a young students who tilts her head and holds it there as she asks him for an autograph on a photo copy photo of the candidate at Washington Carver Elementary School during his visit to New Orleans.

Barack Obama tucks in a napkin in his shirt as he sits at Dooky Chase Restaurant in New Orleans. Coming up to join him is Norman Francis, president of Xavier University. Chase said she was now supporting Obama.

Barack Obama hugs Leah Chase as Norman Francis, president of Xavier University looks on. Chase said she was now supporting Obama, but Francis said he didn't make endorsements.

Barack Obama and Leah Chase chat over bowls of gumbo. Chase said she was upset because she had only a 5 minute warning on the candidate's visit. "You know I like to do things right," she said

An enthusiastic crowd applauds as Barack Obama delivers his stump speech at Fogelman Arena on the campus of Tulane University in New Orleans:

it's because it's encouraging seeing so many people involved in this election.

18. Very pretty pictures. I don't see him working as hard as
Edwards did for the people of Nola. I'm not thrilled that when so many are going without, fancy resturaunt photos are being shared.

Funny how the Edwards supporters get on Obama for eating at a fancy restaurant
While Edwards has a mansion and gets $400 haircuts.

26. Lots of people work at those fancy restaurants and depend on them for their
source of income. The restaurant business in NOLA is key to their economy.

33. You are so right. I went to NOLA recently and our cab driver said
"Please tell everyone to come back, we are dying here." And it's not just the poor - they are mostly all still displaced. It is the average middle income people. They had homes destroyed and insurance couldn't cover. So they are having to pay rent (which has risen) and a mortgage (which for some has risen). People we talked to said that if tourism doesn't pick up they may have to leave their beloved city. Even those who rebuilt find their homes in a war zone of abandoned homes because their neighbors could not.

I actually loved what Edwards said about Nola - when he was president he would appoint a cabinet level position and every day he would ask that person, "what have you done for NOLA lately."

I wish Obama would pick up on this. Katrina was my second biggest beef with AssHat.

Get a clue. I've Been there. Far from a "fancy" restaurant. Just good down home food in the heart of the community.

34. If it is a cult - it's a wonderful cult and I don't mind one bit being a part of it ! Join us - it'
a wonderful feeling to let go of all the hate! I have been a bitter hater of AssHat since 2000 and it is a huge burden off my shoulders to let it go and move toward the positive !
