Democrats Abroad in London: Obama beats Hillary 971-422
"A sturdy rendition of the Star Spangled Banner set the scene for noisy cheerleading by the Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama camps and vigorous sales of candidate cookies. In the end the ballot boxes produced a 971 to 422 victory for Obama."

11. Yes Obama has more "elite" support than Clinton
but it certainly wouldn't be true to say that he doesn't have significant support from middle class and working people.

14. No...Of course there are exceptions in every group...
My mom's doctor is Puerto Rican...He's also unabashedly pro-Bush*... For him his profession trumps ethnicity...

I don't know how "Limey" comes into it...I was making the uncontroversial observation that Americans who travel and live abroad are generally more affluent and educated than those who don't... When I was growing up in my working class community , going to the beach was a vacation and eating at McDonalds was considered "dining out"...

People are too quick to attack here...

15. Why are you bringing up the "limey" comment is a post to me?
Did I say anything at all about it? No. Looks like your being the one who's too quick to attack. I made no comment that criticized your observation in any way.

21. Obama's expat support
As an expat myself, expats know better which candidate is better for the world. We live there. I think Obama is going to win big on the expat vote. We have 11 votes at the convention.
