Who do you think people like this will vote for?
A friend of mine.

Her husband was Republican all the way, but she says she's always really been a Democrat, but they never discussed it but I got the impression she let him think she agreed with him. (He died last year.)

She's pissed about the war like the majority of Americans are. Not involved, just pissed we're there and we haven't accomplished anything.

I asked her: Are you going to vote Dem or Rep do you think in the election?"

Her: Dem

Me: Will you vote for Hillary?

Her: No, I hate her.

Me: Would you vote for a black candidate?

Her: Maybe

Me: Would you vote for Obama?

Her: No - not him.

Me: Why?

Her: I don't know.

Me. Then what Dem will you vote for?

Her: I don't know.

What the fuck is up with people? They are so apathetic!

Anyway my question is because I think there are a lot of people out there like her, and I wonder who the hell they'll end up voting for.

What do you think?

5. have you considered ...
... smothering her in her sleep?

I swear, people who don't know shit about the candidates ought to either get informed or stop voting.

6. Get her information about all the candidates
stressing what McCain will do about the war ("100 years" anyone?) THAT should quash any thoughts of her putting a mark in the R column. Then talk about the issues that HRC and BHO espouse-and their records. Get her information she can read about their positions. Or, better yet, ask her what concerns her most about the country, besides Iraq. Then address those issues individually.

Remember, one vote-one voter--can make all the difference. Never dismiss any potential voter, especially one like this that you can educate.
