Why the hell do we even need Super Delegates? Let the people decide!
Edited on Fri Feb-08-08 03:33 PM by RiverStone
Randi was saying on talk radio yesterday that with a closely contested nomination, Puerto Rico could play an unprecedented role in the final delegate count (they are our last scheduled primary - in June); but additionally, so could Super Delegates.

It's too damn late or practically impossible to strip them of power, but what function does a Super Delegate serve unless they represent the will of people in their region?

Why do we even need one dang "Super" Delegate?

It would totally suck if in the end - SD's decided who our nominee was. That is NOT how our system is supposed to work eh?

I'm open to being corrected by political junkies wiser than I....
