2. Nice banner in the background.... here's how to make it a reality
Vote Dean or Kucinich today and send progressive delegates to the convention! Our voice must be heard, so Kerry actually can have the "courage to do what's right for America"

3. Just came back from voting
I was the first person in my precinct to vote today. I have a feeling my husband and I may be the only people in our precinct to vote today.

5. I voted today in Florida
There weren't too many people there around 10:30. I'm interested to see what the overall turnout is. It would be nice to see a high turnout in Florida, even if the nominee is not in much doubt.

8. Florida: Lee County: Precinct 160
Edited on Tue Mar-09-04 11:58 AM by booradleyjr
Voted today at about 10:30. I was the only voter at that time. The poll workers told me that about 40 had voted so far. I asked how many registered Democrats are in the precinct and was told 511. They said they were hoping for 100 votes.

My vote? Kuchinich.

15. Collier County FL here
Edited on Tue Mar-09-04 02:11 PM by SW FL Dem
The good news is that my precinct actually has several hundred registered Democrats. The bad news is that few of them seem to be voting today. I was the only one there and the workers said that turnout was very light so far. I really wanted to vote for Wes, but he asked me to vote for Kerry so I did.

edited for typo

6. I voted for Doc Dean in Texas
Number nine in my precinct around 9:30. There aren't a lot of contested races in my district and obviously we know who the nominee is going to be.

I had volunteered to hold a sign for a judicial candidate in another precinct from 7 to 9. They have a contested congressional race and turnout was better.

11. yo
FL. voter here, proudly voted for Kerry today around 11:00. Didn't see much action at the booths in Seminole County.

My vote for Kerry was a vote for solidarity. I love all the candidates.

14. Vote in FL
Hubby and I got to the poll at noon, one other person there. I asked about turn out, it was light. Not many Dems. in our precinct to begin with. We did pass another polling place that was very full, glad to see that.
