Clinton leads in Wisconsin by nearly double-digits!
Clinton: 50
Obama: 41
Other/Undecided: 9

Dates: February 6-7

Link here.

Looks like this will be a good spot for Clinton to turn things around and make a last stand.

1. It's a medium-sized state. If one Democrat gets slighltly more delegates from WI
...than the other, it won't affect the presidential race much.

If she can't win here, she's in BIG trouble.

41. I think this poll might be right though
Wisconsin, from what I know about it, has a lot of white working class Dems...I think the demographics there favor Clinton. Though it is in close proximity to Illinois, so that might help Obama (it helped Clinton in NJ, not so much in Connecticut).

Because she led by 20 there in September and by 13 in December. At this rate, if Obama has a successful early February, she won't have a lead anymore.

36. Closed government = Pragmatism? Open Government = Dreaming?
Really?

How pragmatic was it of Bill to deep-six BCCI investigation when it allowed BushInc to go free enough to plan a return to the WH in 2000? Or when some of those outstanding matters in BCCI flew into the WTC?

How did that Clinton 'pragmatism' work out for our party, the Nation and the world in the LONGTERM?

Nearly every good thing squeezed out during that time was overturned within a year by Bush2 while all the worst decisions usually protecting BushInc came back to seriously harm this nation and the world for generations.

47. Why did you wait until this election to start screaming about this?
Almost every thread you appear, there's this BCCI investigation.

What about Kerry? What did he do after the BCCI investigation? Jesus! The man didn't even bring it up in his campaign. That's when I got outraged. Were you outraged, too? Or were you storing it all up and waiting for just the right moment to express your indignation, four years after Kerry had the election stolen?

He could have even made a comparison to the stolen election, but he didn't. Outrage over BCCI, indeed.

spokespeople would never FURTHER his comments. Dem spokespeople set in place for years by Clinton MACHINE - all schooled in defending Clintons and none knowledgeable about much else. After all, Bill pointedly never brought up BCCI in his book and never mentioned anything about it in his many interviews on terrorism. What would THEY know?

And the few press who reported on Kerry's campaign comments reBCCI complained about it being a boring subject.

But the fact still remains that Clintons side with Closed Government. And closed government has harmed our nation gravely.

PS - I didn't START in on Clinton's complicity until I read his book. Up until then I always wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. That once he left office he'd explain why it was necessary to do and how it couldn't be helped for some serious reason - but that's not what he did. He INSULTED anyone who paid attention to the last 3 decades of these issues. He never even mentions one word about BCCI at all, though he was handed the BCCI report when he took office and the matters left outstanding directly led to 9-11.

You don't seem to get that Clinton has proved his failure to pursue those matters was deliberate.

Any simple search on Jackson Stephens role in Clinton's life and in bringing BCCI to this country should open up some eyes.

Don't blame ME for understanding what has been going on and for telling the truth.

And further - why not ANSWER the question posed? How DID Bill's decision to deep-six BCCI matters turn out for this nation in the long run?

Instead of killing the questioner, why not answer the question?

For those who don't get the reference, Google it and you'll see his extremely harsh remarks about John Edwards.

38. MN is actually a hybrid-- not a pure caucus.
They use a binding straw poll to determine how many delegates are awarded, but select delegates via caucuses and conventions.

And she didn't ignore MN, either. She made an appearance here last Saturday, the day after Obama had made an appearance. Plus she had more endorsements of the party bigwigs, including former Sen. Mark Dayton and the speaker of the state House. She certainly did not ignore Minnesota.

If she is up by 9 points on a state as big as Wisconsin, she isn't the underdog. It would be terrific if Obama can put up a good fight here and possibly even take it. But if he does, he will be snatching one from her, similar to Missouri.

I think he should be lowering expectations so that if he only loses by 10-15% he can claim a moral victory and justify staying in the race.
