Inappropriate, rude, unnecessiary? Absolutely. Deserving of an apology? One would be appropriate, especially as a result of the way this statement has been given so many legs.

Chelsea has a voice, she's using it to speak out effectivly for her mother. She can use it to defend herself as well. And I'm sure if she does, she will address this issue better than her mother or her mothers campaign ever could.
