in their crosshairs.

Funny how the only time the Clintons manage to fight, it's for themselves.

Forget standing up for Kerry, Hillary could have just kept quiet. But no, she thinks she's entitled to the presidencey and who cares about the truth. She piled right on top of the filthy pile.

Oh, and the Media environment we currently suffer from is due largely to her husbands deregulating the Media.

Lastly, her campaign policies positions on Media and Internet is a freaking pathetic joke.

1. Kick.
I would imagine that Chelsea was already desensitized to this kind of thing by her father's contribution to the national dialog ten years ago or so.

9. what are you talking about?
Clinton campaigned for Kerry at the democratic convention, and then
suffered a heart attack.
How did the Clinton's f*k kerry? It's the other way around.
Kerry screwed over John Edwards presidential campaign as well.
He's becoming an embittered old man.

2. Nice attempt, but she only said
she thought the remark was inappropriate (which, obviously, he also did as he apologized) - NOTE: this was 2006, long after the 2004 election - and, when she tried to expound on the fact that it was a diversion from the underlying issue - Bush being a f'up - the video cuts out.

Another attempt to 'hit' her by using out of context material. Now, I was not a Hillary supporter - I preferred Gore jump in or Edwards get the nom. But, this constant nitpicking and bashing of the Clintons is getting old.

Do you feel the same about the constant BS spin post bashing Obama?

At least Obama supporters try to post facts, not 24/7 BS spin!

Hillary ('hit' from just about the beginning of her public life), JE (ignored/dismissed), or even Gore in 2000 or Kerry in 2004. And, much of the 'hits' IMO have been low blows.

19. Obama is not the media darling, that's complete nonsense. Hillary and Bill
brought a lot of this on themselves (misleading mailers, Bill's lies, bogus robo calls, bloggers suspected of being on their payroll, misleading voters). It's ludicrous to believe that somehow Hillary is the biggest victim of the media.

26. Fear of links is irrational. You prefer people to make up BS and pass it off as the facts, but in
the end it's BS.

10. But one thing to remember Kerry was considering another run in 08
After he flubbed the joke he decided not to reenter the emerging bullshit arena of our presidential race and the corporate media's mind-games/cluster-fuck.

I too, am tired of the "political discourse" here, if one dared call it that, I think it's more like political football.

13. That comment knocked him out of the election
And he would be cleaning her clock if he were in it and she knows it. A lot of us have tried to point out their media power, and have been scoffed at repeatedly. This ought to prove it conclusively. Who else has made Chris Matthews apologize on air for anything? The same women's groups that back Hillary got Don Imus fired. And now this with Schuster. But she can't get on the teevee to oppose the war??? Or any of the other 100 things that have gone haywire since 2000? Bullshit. She chose not to. She chose to never go after the Bushies about anything, but made a point of getting air time to knock out a Dem opponent. That's your girl.

I'm sorry but Shuster stepped way over the line and frankly I am appalled that Dem Party leaders are speaking out about the sexism issue. WTF?

5. This is a moment where John McCain gave Kerry more slack than...
Clinton did.

I think it's kind of interesting. Basically McCain gives credit to Kerry for his apology. After all, it was just a botched joke. It seemed like Clinton took the opportunity to get a dig in.

The media did pile on Kerry and Clinton really didn't help defend him. That's kind of offensive to me because it's pretty clear Kerry just made an honest mistake.

It's not the end of the world but certainly something to make note of.

18. I remember that. It seemed pretty strange because most other Dems did jump in and defend Kerry.
Clinton was quick to pile on rather than defend.

But didn't Kerry defend Clinton over something or other recently? It was a comment about the war and repuglicans were swiftboating her. Didn't Kerry jump to her defense?

28. The Clintons are shameless political operatives!
Hillary didn't give a flying fuck that Kerry was being swiftboated on his joke, she only wanted him out of the way as a competitor. If the Clintons were a Mafia family, Kerry would be sleeping with the fishes today.
