Think about the reputation about the USA in the WHOLE world!
If Obama wins, the world will be stunned that America is changing!!!

This is the most massive way to show the world, that America is back on track and it's worth to trust and INVEST again.

Can you imagine how important it is, to show the world, that this country is believing in EVOLUTION, that they are ready to invest in science again, that...

...the scientist of the world are coming back for their conventions instead of holding those in Europe
(I know it because my husband is a physicist and has to go always to Europe, instead of USA in former times!!)

This "greatest experience of all times" should not go down like this!!

When Bush visited Germany, the schools, factories and entire cities where shut down (secret service advice).
People had to take their cars out of the city, man wholes where welted close, private and official mailboxes had to be save sealed!
Bush drove for a few hours through totally empty streets and cities

When Kennedy or Clinton came to visit Germany, the people came in the millions!!

They want to LOOK UP to the USA again!!!! They so much wish, it will be Obama they can great again!

America is not alone in this world, they need alleys to fight the new threads of terrorism, they have to do it TOGETHER with as much nations in the world as possible

I promise you, it will happen with Obama.

My kids (30 and 33 years old), living in Frankfurt and Hamburg tell me, that where ever they go, everybody talks about the elections in USA and just feel, that there was never something like that happen before.

All of Europe is into this election...............I think the world needs Obama right now to proof to the world, that

the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA was not a nice try

that is is for real and can be the role model for the world again!!

Yes I know, it's a very long road, but the start has to begin with Obama, that will prove to the world, that America is changing and it will be one of the biggest stories going into

HISTORY

1. If either Clinton OR Obama win the presidency, it will show America is changing
I'm happy and proud that BOTH candidates are serious contenders for the presidency. In spite of what their (democratic) opponents say - both are very likely able to beat McCain. The primary turnouts speak to that.

Either way, it's very exciting. We should all be proud of our party.

2. that's very true.......
but no scandals and ugly tricks anymore!!!!

USA should not be the laughing stock of the western world any more, even worse ............as long as there is laughter it's somewhat ok, BUT if they are shocked it's very bad!

The dollar is going down faster than people even know......................!!!

4. Hi kineta................
Coming from Frankfurt, living here since 1996, 10 years Atlanta, GA, then Medina, Wa and Sunny Isles Beach, southFL going back and forth.

We came for business for just 2 years, but fell in love with the country and are still here, raised a teenager which learned the best parts of BOTH cultures.
Now with green card, we will stay, but WILL NOT APPLY FOR CITIZEN. We are heavy tax payers and don't care, because we feel members of this society and want to do our part.

But we want the reputation of this great country back!
We see it with our international eyes!! :hi:

10. Hey, I was *almost* born in Frankfort!
My mom came back to the states about a month before I was born (didn't want to give birth in a military hospital). I resent it - wish I'd been born there ;-)

I'm in Seattle, practically your neighbor. I love it here.

15. I admit that a big part of my decision about who to vote for is world opinion
I think Hillary is more qualified and certainly is more experienced with using the political process to get things done. Whether her time as First Lady is directly relevant, there's no way she could have been in Bill's environment for so many years and not learned a hell of a lot.

But the perspective of the rest of the world, should we decide to go with a newcomer who doesn't have connections all over Washington, matters to me too. I don't think Obama would be as knowledgeable a president. I don't see how he possibly could be, not from Day One, although he's a quick learner. But I imagine myself as a European or Asian or African watching the inauguration of Barack Obama, and I think "WOW... they REALLY want to make a change from George Bush. Maybe they're not so bad after all..."

16. Also
Think about a young man in Cairo or Islamabad turning on the TV and seeing Barack Hussein Obama starting back at him as the president of the United States. The half-black son of an African Muslim, well-adjusted and successful in "the Great Satan." That speaks volumes.
