Survey Shows Obama, McCain with Big Leads in Virginia Polls
Obama 3:2 Atop Clinton in Virginia Democratic Primary: 4 days to the Virginia Democratic Primary, Barack Obama leads Hillary Clinton 59% to 39%, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for WJLA-TV Washington DC, WDBJ-TV Roanoke, and WTVR-TV Richmond. Among white voters, the two are tied. Among black voters, Obama leads 7:1. Obama leads among both women and men.

Clinton leads among seniors. Obama leads among those under age 65. Clinton leads by 6 in the Shenandoah. Obama leads by 9 in the DC suburbs, leads by 36 in Central VA and leads by 46 in Southeast VA. At stake are 101 proportionally allocated delegates to the Democratic National Convention.

2. Yeah, I don't need a poll to tell me Obama is going to win Virginia.
I don't even know a Hillary supporter in the flesh. So far I've only met them on the internet. Most people I know either like Obama, plan to vote for him, or are so far to the right that any Democratic Candidate is immediately the Anti-Christ, but even to them Hillary is the worse of the two.

4. If he leads by 46 in Norfolk Hampton Roads areas
he's got this all sewn up. I am not surprised by the central VA number, but the southeast quad makes me really hopeful.
