Should Barack offer Hillary a cabinet position?

1. There's a big problem with anybody giving HIllary a cabinet position.
And that problem has a name: Bill Clinton. I can't fathom any candidate wanting him all in their cabinet with disease. All joking aside, a Hillary cabinet position creates a problem for any President, because they're going to find themselves competing with Bill. Which is a shame, because I really do like the guy. Or I did, anyway. Not entirely sure how I feel about him nowadays.

4. I don't think she would
I think that the Clinton inclination towards secrecy hobbles her for understanding the tech issues that need to be addressed to really drive down healthcare costs. Honestly, do you think she will really work for open standards for anything? When that will take money off the table for big IT and healthcare corporations?

12. Probably.
She appears to be one of those people who's very good at whatever she puts her mind to. I don't think it really matters though, because any Dem president would probably be terrified of giving Bill access to the executive branch.

3. Me too, not sure how to feel about him anymore
We know for sure his 73% approval rating among Dems is long gone now.

6. I'd have to wait and see quite honestly...
...I do know this much, I certainly wouldn't be offering any position to Joe Lieberman other than the "bend over so I can kick your ass out the door" position.

7. I think she's better suited for the Senate Majority Leader position.
Out with Harry. In with Hillary!

8. India
I think he should at the very least give her the opportunity to make a speech at the convention. Then perhaps ship her off to India or Mexico where her husband sent our jobs....

13. I don't know which cabinet position would be appropriate, and I doubt she would take one.
However, if that's what it takes to unify our party behind Obama, then I think it should be done.

Divisive politics won't help us after we've won, so Obama should make some kind of an effort at bringing HRC in behind him.

It would show some real guts for him as a politician, letting go of the slanders and getting on with the real work
of being our president.

15. I don't think so...
but that is because I do not approve of the tactics used in this primary season. Her actions regarding her campaign equate to someone who has a lack of judgment in how to best get things done, which I think is what any cabinet position should be all about. If a candidate uses such divisive and inaccurate statements to win an election I don't know what that says about their ability to promote any kind of an agenda.
