10. You know what I love about every picture I've seen of Obama w/kids?
His sincerity. As a mom of young kids, I notice those things. He gets down on their level, makes funny faces, interacts with them. How many times do we see the requisite politician posing with the baby or kissing them. With him, it's completely different - I rarely even seem him turn toward the camera. It's like they have 100% of his attention, and he's happy to give it to them. I like that :)

15. I was there. In front of me a woman in a wheelchair with 2 kids.
At the end of his speech he came to our side of the floor to shake hands and the woman put the two kids in her lap with hope that that they would get a handshake. The crowd was puching forward and there were hands everwhere. He made a point to stop, take each of the girls' hands, looked like he gave a little kiss on the top of the hand and then went on.
Those little girls where so excited to be there. They were asking so many questions and were so happy be a part of the event. I think one was 6 and one 8.
