10. That's the delegate count for that precinct
they go to the county, then to the state. I assume we'll know the state numbers (or a close approximation) later tonight.

6. In my precinct: : 2 delegates each. My daughter and I are delegates
It was quite an experience. The turnout was much greater than expected. Everyone agreed: BUSH SUCKS.

12. I hadn't heard that. Somebody else reported in from their caucus there was
one undecided, too. Wonder if it'll amount to anything. Thanks! :hi:

13. We had three
and they remained undecided until I decided to go home (things were pretty much done and it was way too hot in there).

14. My Seattle/Capitol Hill precinct: Obama 4 - Clinton 2
Turnout for the precinct was at least TRIPLE that of 2004. About 15 last time. Probably 50+ this year. Turnout for all precincts at the caucus was absolutely frickin' huge - again, at least triple.

Looking at the size of the two groups, I was surprised that our precinct had more than one - but I didn't take a headcount. Obama had even stronger support overall at the site. Lots of single Clinton delegates.

15. We only had 2 delegates from our precinct
both went to obama... I asked around the other ones since it was a bunch of small precincts all meeting at the same place. Most all went for Obama and Clinton might have got 1 or 2 and Obama 10-12.
i don't know definite amounts because it was so loud when we were all in the same room they moved us to separate rooms and by the time I left most all others were gone.

16. My W. Seattle precinct: 105 people, 8 Obama & 2 Clinton delegates.
Four precincts caucused in the same location, and the ratios were very similar. Four or five to one.

People were pretty excited about being involved. Very nice to see.

17. Results from my precinct
Edited on Sat Feb-09-08 06:50 PM by newmajority
Obama - 74, 5 precinct delegates

Clinton - 29, 2 precinct delegates

Uncommitted - 15, 1 precinct delegate

118 total, with 8 precinct delegates. Don't know if that's the record, but it's easily double the turnout for 2004.

I think we have 4 different precincts meeting at the same church, and it was standing room only when I got there, so the turnout was probably just as good in the other precincts, though I don't have their counts.

GOBAMA!!

18. Forgot to mention...out of ~84 people, only...

...a handful had caucused before. Easily it was the first time for 90% there.

Obama is the one bringing the extra turnout. The numbers back it up. :woohoo:

23. Tacoma WashingtonPrecinct 27-321: 16 delegates, 13 went for Obama.
The only person in the room who changed his vote changed it from Kucinich to Obama. I am thinking Obama is going to take Western Washington in a HUGH!!!1!1!1! way. Currently I am an Obama supporter so I was pleased by this, and by the exceptionally large turnout.
