1. One of the news channels said "they are in talks" whatever that means.
They did not say the same thing re Clinton and Edwards.

6. Well, I've been here 2.5 years and have over 2,500 posts. If I told you that I had
heard the same thing, would you tend to believe me based on my time here and my post count?

:wtf:

8. The Clinton Camp was floating a rumor about Gore earlier this week
going for Obama. Expectation setting from the get.

I would assume this is more of the same, and from the same source...

10. Our local Edwards supporters were going to Obama on the Second Round at the caucuses, but
we had to leave our meeting place, because it was too small, so we were outside in sleet and mist and winter night. I talked to the Edwards supporters who made it to his section near the Obama section, before they made us go outside because there were too many of us, and we talked to the Obama supporters and everyone was very enthusiastic about some of the Edwards supporters, 4-5 of us (though there were several hundred other caucus goers that we never got a chance to talk to, to get them to joing our movement in the Second Round, which round never happened. 3-4 Edwards supporters did suggest to surrounding Obama people that on the Second Round (the Edwards supporters would go to other candidates and we would call for them to go to Obama inorder to voice our support of an Obama and Edwards ticket, because this combination would annihilate McCain completely and which suggestion caused other Obama supporters to voice their enthusiastic interest in such a ticket, because of its practical use of our known strengths.

Too bad we never had the Second Round of the caucus . . . .

Solidarity, Obama!

11. It wouldn't surprise me at all, especially if Obama sweeps today
Obama at that point will be the front-runner, and ESPECIALLY in the South where he looks poised to take VA soon also. Edwards runs on the supposed strength he has in the South (like he did in 04) so he would be especially mindful if it looks like LA, MS, AL, GA, SC, NC and VA were all going to go Obama.

Frankly, a three way win today, in vastly different states in different parts of the country, in caucuses AND primaries, would really speak volumes about Obama's strength. Hopefully, those who have been trashing him constantly on DU might at least acknowledge his strength as a candidate and return to the usual whining about how the media favors him.
