If Obama is the candidate of the future and HRC is rooted in the past...
How come Obama and his supporters dwell on the vote to start the war and a speech, both which happened almost five years ago...

I'm just saying...

It really doesn't matter now to the men and women who have served or are serving or the families of those now serving in that hell hole called Iraq what happened five years ago...

I think they want to know about a plan to get out...

On this both candidates have voted consistently to assist the troops and to keep the conflict well funded...

Neither one seems to care enough what the overall effect on the finances of the country will be as they both keep voting and voting and voting for huge deficites to fund this freaking war...

The issues I am concerned about are:

1) Who is going to get us out without causing the whole middle east to erupt in sectarian war...

2) Who is going make the tax burden in this country fair...

3) Who is going to stand up to the corporate entities and say enough is enough...

4) Which is going to realistically address how this country pays for health care by going after private health insurance...

5) Which one is going to be diligent enough to erase the almost silent privatization of OUR governement which has occurred under Bush...

6) Who is going to stop this ridiculous faith based approach to funding science and the arts...

Those are my top six concerns...

That to me is the way to the future...

Not who voted for the war...

Who gave a speech...

I want the person who will give a damn about where this country is really headed and also be strong enough to fight back the powerful tides that are going against individuals and their concerns...

1. just look at Clinton's campaign to see how rooted in the past she is
It took them until this week to figure out they should try to raise money online and develop a base of small donors. Terry McAllif et al still think its the 1980s.

4. Also looking at her demographics is telling.
She appeals most to old people & white women. That really isn't a good sign.

5. I'm not sure I can see either of them tackling your issues...
They have both taken money from the corporations, I believe, and it's hard to be independent of those you've taken money from...

But your concerns are well-said...

They should be at the top of anyone's questions to these two candidates...

Good luck getting any answers...
