In one thread, someone is saying that Bill Clinton screwed minorities during the 90's. Where to start.
Blacks prefered Clinton over Lincoln as of 2002:
http://oregonmag.com/BlackSlaves.htmeven if you show me a poll (and you can't) conducted today in which this favorability among blacks decreased, you would have to blame it on the race fights that have arised between Clinton and Obama; because you can't tell me that it took them 7 years to find out how good or bad Clinton was for them.
Bill Clinton was called the "first black president" after his mandate finished.
Donna Brazille (loved by Obama and his supporters)
told CBS in 2007 (before all this race talk began) the following: "They (black women) loved her husband Bill and would like to see 'a woman elected first'"
Let's talk about the Hispanic. Need I say more that they are overwhelmingly supporting his wife during these primaries?
Note that black support for Clinton in the primaries has nothing to do with Clinton's performance in the 90's, but by the racial tensions that have arised; and in part because they may think Obama will be better than HILLARY, who voted for the Iraq war after Clinton's presidence was over.
If they disapproved of his performance in the 90's, they would have shown their disapproval before this year.
That some may now ALL OF A SUDDEN say that Clinton's presidency was bad for minorities, after being silent for years, is a product of the fact that Clinton is facing Barack Obama, and Clinton must be attacked by all angles.
