Get your freeper freak out over Obama right here.
Wow. Thread after thread of freepers losing it over the prospect of facing Obama

Posted on 02/09/2008 8:08:12 PM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

All we need to know about how Barack Obama would intend to run against John McCain, we learned from this line in his speech to the Jefferson-Jackson dinner this evening in Virginia:

This week, this week, we found out that the presumptive nominee of the Republican party will be Senator John McCain Now, I believe John McCain is a good man and a genuine American hero. And we honor his half-century of service to this nation.

Yep. The GOP estblishment is going to reap what it sows.

Unfortuanatley because the party’s studpity and unwillingness to modernize, we as a country will hit a brick wall.

Thank you spineless Republicans for flushing whatever gains you made before 2006 down the toliet. What is going to happen in later this year to the party will put icing on the cake.

Stupid idiots!

If I were McCain (and I’m glad I’m not), I’d pull a Reagan response to that one: “I will not make age an issue of this campaign. I am not going to exploit, for political purposes, my opponent’s youth and inexperience.”

Man, was Reagan great or what? :)

Exactly.

This is the 1996 election again, except it might be uglier.

It has a chance to be the most decisive election since 1984, IMO.

It will be ugly to watch McCain up against this guy. It will be interesting to watch how the electoral map changes this time. We said over and over that this would be 1996 all over again. Watching Obama tonight further convinces me of this.

And what does modernizing mean to you??? Nominating Romney (aka a rich white guy with a flip-flopping problem?? McCain will still probably lose, but it’ll be closer than it would with Romney... Romney would probably lose by twenty points or so and it would lead to a filibuster proof majority in the Senate for the Dems.. Oh I think the GOP became quite modern, they even set up ever manner of clown prominence. Liberals decided to take advantage of the modern GOP and 'Foleyized' the morals voters... Also the modern GOP started spending like liberals and turned their backs on conservative domestic policy... NOBODY was paying attention to the wheeler dealers sub-priming it.

I wouldn't vote for this guy in a million years, but dang if he isn't inspirational. He's like a revival preacher. No wonder that the useful idiots vote for him. This guy is a friggin gold mine. He's an ambassador for.... well, for something. He gives the best political speeches I've heard in my whole life. Even better than Reagan. Of course I'd vote for Reagan a million times before I'd ever think about voting for Obama, but... this guy is good. Don't underestimate him.

I’m listening to Obama Jefferson-Jackson Speech and this guy is good. He’s very expertly skipping over Hillary and going right to the general Election and to what, IMO, will be his ass-kicking of creaky, cranky, doddering good old boy McCain.

The good news is he IS NOT HILLARY. The bad news is HE IS VERY, VERY GOOD and our presumptive candidate is not!

I think they confuse Obama with Jesus er somethin'?

"If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me." ~ Jesus

Some of these "values voters" may actually want to read that Bible thing vs. trust Limbaugh with their Gospel ey? http://www.voiceofjesus.org/onthepoor.html

That said, if any Freepers are lurking, let me clear something up for you. It is not part of the Democratic agenda to give money to "nitwits" who "refuse to work". What we wish to do is provide jobs to those who want to work.

Fun read, thanks for sharing Cali. :hi:

40. But the ONLY thing that would unite the GOP...
is HRC as the opponent this November. Her negatives are off the charts with GOP (duh?), independents, and a large chunk of Democrats (that race-baiting ain't going to be forgotten, no how, no way).

Voting for HRC in a primary or McCain in November really nets the same result, IMO.

Obama is the GOP's nightmare.
