1. I'm kind of flabbergasted that McCain is getting his money's worth out
in Washington, not really notable as a frothing fundie stronghold.

And he's already got whomped elsewhere this evening.

3. Washington has got more than it's fair share of very affluent fundies
Particularly east of Seattle in Bellevue.

Couple of big super churches in the region.

2. It looks like McCain is going to pull out a victory in WA
Assuming most of the outstanding vote is in the cities, which seem more likely to vote for McCain than Huckabee. But I'm loving that the vote is this close. It would be great to see Huckabee keep the Repug nomination an actual contest. If most of the conservatives actually get behind Huckabee, that's exactly what could happen.

Does anybody know if that's the most current count?
