1. I watched Obama and I'm watching Clinton now.
I can't stand Katie Couric but I think Obama and Clinton are both shining.

14. Both were good on that. Hillary actually did a good job explaining her Iraq
vote for a change. Maybe because it was quick and to the point.

2. I like both Hillary, and Obama; whose interview came before hers.
And she's right. It is very serious business. It's beyond Super Tuesday for me, and I'd still vote for Obama, but I'm not as worried about Ms. Clinton as I used to be.

8. Katie's face as she asked "Does that mean he can't handle it?"
She looked more smug than Obama ever had. I probably misread it. I like her words and vision. But the status quo also includes offshoring.

9. Hillary is so much easier to like in this format
Edited on Sun Feb-10-08 07:32 PM by NJSecularist
Too bad the nomination isn't decided so much on 1 on 1 interviews but during speeches with large crowds, which is a format I feel Hillary struggles in.

so we should vote for Hillary because she is an establishment candidate who has "been there done that" so the only people who are qualified to run for president are well versed in negative politics? so the only people who are qualified to run for president have run for president before?

16. Perfect example of Obama getting the softball
interview and Clinton getting hard hitting questions. She did well, but the difference was striking.

Hillary was totally on point on 60 min. I am trying to like Obama but I really don't know his message yet. I fear he's more conservative than he's letting on. I supported Kucinich. His message was clear without having to go online and look up his platform. Likewise for Edwards. Hillary is getting her message out and that may make the difference. After the both interviews, I know more about Hillary. I know even less about Obama.

19. They both did well. Clinton/Obama might in fact be the ticket.
She is confidence inspiring.

18. That was a nice interview.
Katie Couric blows as an interviewer, but Hillary handled herself very well.

20. Obama and Clinton were both great - Couric tries to hard to hide liberalism
I liked Clinton's answer to what would happen if this didn't work out.
