5. I had to throw my two cents in on it.

I find is sad that so much energy is wasted on the free for all that I see going on between the Hillary and Obama sides.

The Dem candidates (past and present) are top notch.

Why all the bullshit then?

7. I think that there is fear that the GOP can somehow take this election
and its not a democratic cakewalk.

Personally I think this was not the election for the Democrats to go all historic on.
I would have preferred a less controversial candidate than any of them.
I honestly believed that if Gore had run he would have gotten the mea culpa vote from many Republicans ashamed of what Bush has wrought. Basically, I think they would have tried to undo their 2000 vote by turning this election to Gore.

But instead we have the Democrats trying very hard to lose a critical election.

8. Prehaps.

If McCain runs on keeping the USA in Iraq for 10+ years then he will lose vote.

The majority of America wants out of that mess.

What else do the GOPigs have: more tax cuts?

I do agree with you on Gore.

11. Agree McCAin could lose
but so could either Clinton or Obama.

There is obviously an anti-Clinton section because she's a Clinton segment
There is obviously an anti-Clinton section because of the dynasty BS
There is obviously an anti-Clinton because she's a female segment
There is obviously an anti-Clinton because she voted for IWR
There is obviously an anti-Obama because he's not a white male segment
There is obviously an anti-Obama because he's full of hot air segment
There is obviously an anti-Obama because he's showcasing anti-gay support

4. I think either of them
can beat McCain.

Just as long as we don't become polarized within our own party like the Republicans are doing.

6. If you read the fractious squabbles going on

one might believe that the polarization has already occurred.

10. When you think about it, this isn't much different than the "freeper" picture I posted
last evening (thus, getting my ass burned and being called an "asshole" by someone I ordinarily would have respected.)

Be that as it may- I think from now on, I'll stick to threads with real typed words and not pictures that can be mistaken as being sent from freepers.

On the Hillary discussion... I am having a VERY, VERY, V E R Y hard time transferring all logic from the Kucinich leadership I was looking for over to where the, "everybody seems to be going" Obama court, and therefore, I am trying, trying, trying to see the wisdom of supporting HRC in the Pennsylvania campaign in April.

Meanwhile, I have been paying attention, talking to my family members. This is really tough. I've been campaigning for the US Congressional Democratic candidate I like in our district's race. I HAVE EVEN entered the local race for city council. I can see the big picture. We need change so badly and we can't continue to put people in office who are more of the same... I don't like Clinton's voting record, and frankly, I can even overlook it, if I knew WHY.

Yet, I'm trying to see the wisdom. Bear with me, folks.
