Superdelegates will consider Democratic voter totals, primary vs caucus, and electability
Edited on Sun Feb-10-08 08:44 PM by Proud2BAmurkin

None of those bode well for Obama.

On "electability" they won't look at current poll match ups between the candidates and McCain because those are useless. The devil is in the details of the exit polls.

They're not going to be intimidated into a tortured Obama formulation.

So keep your pants on Obamaniacs. This thing is far from over although Clinton is still the underdog.

1. how does Obama not bode well for electability?
or voting totals?

c'mon your right clinton is the underdog and you guys are getting desperate. if anything obama is a much less polorizing figure in our nations eyes. He has way less political baggage.

c'mon this country wants change.

17. He doesn't do well with older voters, hispanics, and by the time the GOP gets done, men
He won't be trusted on the economy or national security. He has been coddled so far. The dump truck is backing up.

3. No deadline.
They can wait until the actual balloting at the convention starts if they want to.

8. Yes, they will consider all of these variables, there won't be one thing deciding it.
It won't be like "oh Obama has the superdelegate majority, he wins."

12. Not so super delegates
Most people I know have been far more enthusiastic about this presidential race than I can recall in any other time in my political memory. However, this disturbing situation with the possibility that so called "Super Delegates" could overrule the democratically chosen people's choice threatens to quash all of this promising enthusiasm as well as turn-out.

My wife is leaning toward Clinton and I intend to vote for Obama. However, we will forgo voting in the general election if the DNC does not pledge that these "Super Delegates" will unanimously back the peoples choice at the convention NO MATTER WHO IT IS! We would rather let the Republicans gain back the office than bastardize democracy once more.
