Poll question: If Clinton loses Texas and Ohio, she should step aside for the sake of Party unity.
The hypothetical assumes she wins none of the contests before Texas and Ohio as well.

4. If she loses Texas and Ohio Obama will get the 2025 delegates he needs
If she wants to continue in the race after that she is welcome to. But Obama will be running the table at that point and she will have basically no chance.

5. Wouldn't Obama still need a certain number of superdelegates?

12. I'm not a number cruncher
But the way the media is playing up Texas and Ohio I think if Obama wins them both then the rest of the states will be his and enough super delegates will have to flock to him.

If Texas and Ohio are split then I'm really going to start preparing for the possibility of a brokered convention.

Obama will have time to spend in Ohio...and Texas. Time is like Oxygen to the Obama campaign.

13. To stay in, yes, but if we don't want a brokered convention he needs both Texas and Ohio

14. I agree. So many people have invested so much of themselves into these
campaigns, I'd like to see everyone get a chance to vote.

19. PA matters if TX OH split or both go to clinton. If she loses TX & OH, I think she drops out
If she wins, TX OH and PA with reasonable margins, it's going to get very very hard for Obama to stay in. He needs 1 of the three for sure plus a small margin if he loses. OH is a possibility, I think the latino vote will win clinton TX. PA could be a 49/51, but whomever wins will certainly get a nice momentum boost.

20. Of course PA counts but,
bye that time there could be not enough delegates to do her any good. That's why so many states fought for earlier Primaries and Caucuses. It sucks to be last.

22. Obama is well within striking distance in Texas.
He has ground to make up in Ohio. His big wins this weekend, and big wins on Tuesday can go a long way in Ohio. But, not necessarily the whole way.

If Clinton loses both, it's over. I expect a split, with Obama maintaining a slight lead in all delegates.

Since Obama has taken the delegate lead, look for more endorsements from superdelegates to help him have a cushion.
