DU fund drive: do donations move a particular candidate's glove?

The last time we had a fund drive it was a race and donors got to move their candidate ahead. This time, I didn't see anywhere where I could choose a candidate, but I'm wondering because the gloves don't seem to be even.

10. I'm kinda sad in a way about the heart thing...

The first time I donated I thought it was a wonderful coincidence when I got a note saying someone had sent me a heart. Then I donated again 'cause I wanted to give away some more hearts, and got another heart at the same time. (Slapping forehead) Ok, I get it - if I donate, you give me a heart. So now I'm sad realizing that in fact nobody gave me a heart. And I don't really want to disillusion anyone else out there, but it bothers me because I know a lot of people are probably like me and are giving hearts to people who don't have any - so that means since I have two (both because I donated) the chances of someone giving me one are that much lower. I'd actually have preferred to not receive any hearts when I donated. Well, I hope not too many people who THINK someone gave them a heart but really nobody did, will be reading this 'cause I don't want to dash their excitement. I guess there's more to life than little hearts below your name.
