CNN ties Obama, Osama again... in jest
CNN's Jeanne Moos makes light of presidential candidates' proclivity for pointing to unseen members of receptive audiences? In a series of video clips, each of the major candidates left in the 2008 race are shown at rallies clapping with and gesturing to adoring crowds.

What is the point of pointing? "If you don't do something, I think you run the risk of looking kind of listless, forlon, marooned," says body language expert Dan Hill.

So who are they pointing to, Moos asks? The video shows Hillary Clinton pointing at an inserted clip of Bill Clinton's erstwhile mistress Monica Lewinsky, while John McCain points at his arch-critic Ann Coulter, and Barack Obama points at someone whose name has often been accidentally interchanged with his own: terror mastermind Osama bin Laden.

4. Petty, ugly, distastful against both Clinton and Obama, softball to McCain.
I mean, WTF?

Monica? OBL?

The only equivilant would have been an old photo of guy in a VC uniform for McCain.

I guess this is what we can expect. Got to be nice to the old man war hero.

5. I'm going to go ahead and post what I saw on the CNN web site yesterday
and hope somebody else saw it, or hope my computer was just messed up. I was watching the Obama rally in Virginia or MD (I think, I've lost track, but I was watching it online here) and I looked over to the right where they keep the list of cued up videos you can select from. There was a picture of Saddam Hussein at the top with the caption under it: Obama rally in Maryland. It was that horrible, horrible pic of him that we're all so used to seeing. I stared at it and blinked a few times, it didn't go away. I finally decided to click on it and see what happened but by the time I got my mouse over to it, it had changed to a normal pic of the Obama rally.

Swear to god.

10. CNN is trying desperately to breath life back into the lifeless corpse of the Clinton Campaign
Edited on Mon Feb-11-08 10:23 PM by TexasObserver
And who is Jeanie Moos extorting to get that job? She is totally devoid of any on screen talent, yet they give her a job. She and Contessa Brewer on MSNBC must have incriminating photos of someone high up in the organization.
